Nvidia is joining the trading card trend with the Trading Cards Series 1 collection
Nvidia has announced its first series of GeForce Trading Cards, a free collection featuring 14 distinct designs celebrating major milestones in the company's PC gaming and graphics hardware history.
The Series 1 lineup features 14 card designs that highlight iconic GPUs, classic software tech demos, and notable games. Hardware milestones represented in the collection include the 1995 NV1 multimedia processor, the 1999 GeForce 256, and the programmable shader-capable GeForce 3. Later hardware generations, such as the GeForce 7800 GTX and the Pascal-based GeForce GTX 1080, also received dedicated cards alongside the limited-edition GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Cyberpunk 2077 Edition.
Nvidia is also highlighting its software history through cards featuring the classic Bubble, Chameleon, and Medusa tech demos. Long-running software partnerships from the “The Way It's Meant To Be Played” era are represented by Unreal Tournament 2004 and Borderlands. A checklist card completes the 14-piece set, helping collectors track their acquisitions.
Distribution of the physical cards will be handled through both digital and in-person channels. Fans can secure cards through Summer of RTX giveaways hosted on official GeForce social media channels. The company confirms it will also distribute the cards at its booths and partner booths during upcoming summer events, including Bilibili World 2026, QuakeCon 2026, and Gamescom 2026.
KitGuru says: It's a neat piece of nostalgia for long-time hardware collectors, though you'll have to be lucky to complete the collection.

EHA Reader Awards 2026: Nominations Announced
We just got done with the EHA Awards at Computex earlier this month. You've now seen the votes from the industry experts, but now it is time for the Reader Awards, allowing you to vote on the best tech products in a wide range of categories.
Unlike the main EHA Awards, which are based on specific products reviewed by EHA publications over the previous 12 months, the EHA Reader Awards are brand-based and decided by the collective EHA audience.
That means readers are not being asked to vote for a single product, but for the companies they believe have performed best across each category. Over the years, the categories have evolved in response to reader feedback.
Today, we are publishing the proposed list of nominations and inviting readers to suggest changes. That could mean adding a brand that deserves recognition, removing one that no longer fits the category, or suggesting amendments where the list can be improved.
The final winners will be announced on the eve of Gamescom at the Courtyard Marriott Hotel in Cologne, from 6pm on Tuesday 25th August 2026.
Please take a look through the nominations and let us know where you think changes should be made on this Facebook page.

EHA Awards 2026: Winners Announced!
A few weeks ago we shared the announcement of the finalists for this year's European Hardware Awards. In a special presentation held the evening before Computex in Taiwan, the 12th Annual EHA Awards have taken place – so we are back to share all of the winners.
The EHA uses a voting system for awards, asking the key editorial teams of the nine EHA member publications which products were the very best in their respective categories. The end result is a list put together through the combined knowledge of experts across more than 60 categories.
This year’s event also included the presentation of key findings from the EHA Hardware Survey 2026/27. No other editorial survey in this sector matches its combination of reach, technical focus and direct insight from hardware buyers across Europe.
With a foundation built on tens of thousands of independent reviews – going back more than two decades for some EHA publications – the awards are uniquely positioned to recognise genuine innovation, enduring quality and the products that have made the biggest impact on enthusiasts, gamers, creators and professionals alike.
The nine EHA member publications represent an audience of more than 20 million readers across Europe, including Technology Insider in the Netherlands, HardwareLuxx in Germany, Hardware Upgrade in Italy, Geeknetic in Spain, Lab501 in Romania, PurePC in Poland, Cowcotland in France, IO-Tech in Finland and KitGuru in the United Kingdom.
The EHA publication's audience includes PC builders, content creators, gamers, professionals and other early adopters who rely on independent testing and expert analysis to make informed buying decisions.
Over the past 12 years, the European Hardware Awards have continued to evolve alongside the technology industry, introducing new categories to reflect emerging product areas. In order for a product to be EHA Awards eligible, it must be available to buy in Europe and final votes are only cast after thorough analysis and discussion.
For 2026, here are the winners in each category of the European Hardware Awards 2026:-

GTA 6 Pre-Orders Are Not Opening Monday and Review Copies Won’t Be Sent to Press, According to Insiders
Following the discovery of an affiliate Best Buy email suggesting GTA 6 pre-orders will open on Monday, May 18, the millions of fans of Rockstar's blockbuster franchise have already prepared their digital wallets in anticipation. However, according to Tom Henderson, while the affiliate email is legitimate, nothing is actually happening until July or August. During the latest Insider Gaming Weekly podcast, he said: Yeah, we said this for the longest time, right? I think we've all said that we believe we're not going to get anything tangible until July, August, especially August, when their next earnings call is going to […]

EHA Awards 2026 – Finalists Announced!
After considering more than 400 products from over 110 manufacturers, the editorial teams of the European Hardware Association have now narrowed the field to this year’s finalists – the Best of the Best. Here, we reveal the full list of finalists, with the winners of each category set to be announced at an awards ceremony on June 1st.
On Monday, 1st June 2026, the winners of this year’s awards will be revealed at a special event hosted at the Marriott Courtyard, Nangang, Taipei – ideally located for those preparing to exhibit at Computex the following day.
With a foundation built on thousands of detailed, independent reviews – going back almost 17 years in the case of KitGuru – our awards are uniquely positioned to recognise genuine innovation, enduring quality and the products that have made the biggest impact on enthusiasts and professionals alike.
This year’s ceremony marks 12 years since the first European Hardware Awards, and the process remains as rigorous as ever. Each nomination is the result of extensive testing and real-world analysis by the editorial teams of the nine EHA member publications who, combined, represent an audience of more than 20 million readers across the continent – including Technology Insider (NL), HardwareLuxx (DE), Hardware Upgrade (IT), Geeknetic (ES), Lab501 (RO), Pure PC (PL), CowCotLand (FR), IO-Tech (FI) and, of course, KitGuru (UK).
That huge audience includes PC builders, content creators, gamers, professionals and other early adopters who rely on our insights, month in, month out, to make informed buying decisions. The value of the buying decisions influenced by recommendations from EHA publications, now totals more than £26 billion each year.
The categories have evolved over time to reflect new technologies and emerging trends, but the core voting process remains consistent: Fair, thorough and editorially independent. Products must be available in Europe and final votes are cast only after detailed analysis within each EHA member site.
Having reviewed thousands of hardware options over the past 12 months, we have now narrowed the field to this year’s finalists.
Below is the full list of nominations, sourced from high-scoring, recently completed reviews:-

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang is reportedly preparing to shake up the mobile computing market at Computex in June. It is claimed that Nvidia will be launching new Arm-based processors for laptops, including the N1 and N1X.
Reports from CTEE (via VideoCardz) indicate that Nvidia has booked substantial space at the Taipei International Convention Center for the first week of June. This aggressive scheduling aligns with recent leaks of a “GB10-derived” consumer SoC, the result of a high-profile partnership with MediaTek.
While Qualcomm has spent the last two years attempting to legitimise the Windows-on-Arm (WoA) platform with the Snapdragon X Elite, Nvidia is reportedly aiming for a “day-one” advantage by leveraging its dominance in graphics and AI.
The N1X is tipped to be the flagship of this new family, reportedly featuring a 20-core Arm CPU paired with a Blackwell-based iGPU. Meanwhile, the standard N1 silicon is expected to target mainstream efficiency, bringing AI inference capabilities to everyday productivity laptops.

KitGuru says: The N1X should have plenty of GPU power for gaming, assuming current rumours are accurate, so we'll be particularly keen to see that chip in action.

Nacon has scheduled its next Nacon Connect digital showcase for March 4th, at 11 am PT/2 pm ET/7 pm BT. The event is set to offer an in-depth look at the company's 2026 roadmap and debut the latest innovations from its gaming accessories and peripherals department. Highlighting the lineup are several high-profile titles, including Cthulhu: The Cosmic Abyss, The Mound, Edge of Memories, and Endurance Motorsport Series.
Although it wasn't mentioned in the press release, GreedFall 2: The Dying World is another game that might appear during the showcase, as it is scheduled to leave Early Access and hit 1.0 on March 10th.
While Cosmic Abyss already has a confirmed release date and a playable demo available via Steam Next Fest (now running), the presentation is expected to finally provide specific launch windows for the other 2026 titles currently lacking firm dates. Additionally, we might learn new details about Terminator: Survivors, which has recently been postponed.
The teaser trailer also suggests appearances for Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown, Styx: Blades of Greed, and the next entry in the long-running WRC series. Beyond software, the “accessories department” update suggests we may see new iterations of Nacon's controllers and racing-oriented peripherals.
