August’s Humble Choice line-up includes Like a Dragon, Dead Cells and more

6 August 2026 at 09:15

Each month, all those with a Humble Choice subscription are privy to a selection of games for a relatively low price. Available to claim now, August’s line-up has been officially revealed, including the likes of Dead Cells, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth and half a dozen other games.

For the grand total of £11.49, all those subscribed to Humble Choice during the month of August will be granted Steam keys for the following:

  • Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth
  • Dead Cells + The Bad Seed DLC
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge
  • Decktamer
  • Conquest Dark
  • Gatekeeper
  • Pile Up!
  • Dark Envoy

Humble Choice

Between AAA releases, high profile indies and a couple ‘hidden gems’ August’s line-up should offer a bit of something for everyone. That said, there are some standouts such as Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth – the latest mainline entry in RGG Studios’ excellent action RPG series.

Featuring a memorable cast of characters, busy environments to explore alongside a near ‘infinite’ number of wacky side quests and mini-games, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth is certainly worth checking out.

Another great addition is Dead Cells. Representing a satisfying blend of 2D side-scrolling combat and metroidvania-esque mechanics wrapped with a rogue-lite bow, this near-decade old title is still one of the best in its genre. Unfortunately, the bundle will only include the base game and its ‘Bad Seed’ DLC, meaning you will need to purchase the other 3 packs separately. Luckily, they are currently on sale via Steam.

Regardless, for 1/6th the price of a standard AAA game, August’s Humble Choice line-up certainly offers plenty of value.

KitGuru says: What do you think of this month’s line-up? Do you prefer the original Yakuza games or the Like a Dragon series? What’s your favourite rogue-lite metroidvania? Let us know down below.

Nvidia announces 007 First Light bundle for RTX 50 GPUs

14 May 2026 at 12:00

Nvidia has partnered with IO Interactive to bundle the upcoming 007 First Light with qualifying GeForce RTX 50-series graphics cards. For the first time, the game bundle extends further down the product stack, including RTX 5060 Ti graphics cards. Some previous bundles in the current generation have only applied to RTX 5070 and up.

The offer applies to desktop GeForce RTX 5060 Ti graphics cards and higher, including both the 8GB and 16GB variants. For the mobile segment, the promotion starts with the GeForce RTX 5060 laptop GPU. Previously, Nvidia game bundles for the current generation typically began at the RTX 5070 tier.

007 First Light is currently listed for pre-order at $69.99 on Steam and is scheduled for release on May 27th. The game will support Nvidia-exclusive technologies at launch, including DLSS 4.5 and Frame Generation.

The promotion is already underway and will continue through June 10th, 2026, at 11:59 PM PST. Nintendo unveils upcoming ‘Choose Your Game” Switch 2 bundle

13 May 2026 at 11:45

Despite already retailing for a relatively high price, the current state of the video games industry has led Nintendo to announce that the Switch 2 will be receiving a $50 price hike later this year. Seemingly in an effort to ease concerns, the console maker has announced a new ‘choose your game bundle’ allowing you to pick from a number of different first-party Switch 2 titles.

Following the recent announcement that the Nintendo Switch 2 will be going up in price later this year, the console maker has announced a new limited-time bundle for those wanting to get in on the action prior to the impending hike.

Making the announcement via a press release, Nintendo officially unveiled their upcoming ‘Nintendo Switch 2: Choose Your Game Bundle’. Said to be going live in early June for a limited time (at participating retailers), the bundle will set you back $499 – similar to the previous Mario Kart World Bundle.

Nintendo Switch 2

Instead of just MKW however, purchasers will be able to select from 3 different digital Switch 2 titles:

  • Mario Kart World
  • Donkey Kong Bananza
  • Pokemon Pokopia

As mentioned, this bundle will be limited, and presumably will only be on offer until the official price hike goes live sometime in September.

Regardless, for those who were already planning to get their hands on a Switch 2 ahead of the price increase, this upcoming bundle will likely present the best opportunity for you to do so.

KitGuru says: What do you think of this latest bundle? Do you already own a Switch? Is this Nintendo simply trying to take advantage of FOMO? Let us know your thoughts down below.

MSI bundles Solasta 2 with QD-OLED monitors

24 March 2026 at 08:00

MSI is looking to capitalise on the launch of the tactical RPG sequel, Solasta 2, by bundling the game with its latest high-end QD-OLED displays. The promotion highlights two specific monitors from MSI's 2026 lineup: the MPG 271QR QD-OLED X50 and the MAG 272UP QD-OLED X24.

The flagship of this bundle is the MPG 271QR QD-OLED X50, a 27-inch 1440p monitor that pushes the boundaries of OLED speed with a staggering 500Hz refresh rate. Beyond the raw speed, the X50 features the new DisplayPort 2.1a (UHBR 13.5) interface and MSI's OLED Care 3.0. This latest protection suite integrates an “AI Care Sensor” that uses a dedicated NPU to detect human presence, automatically dimming or powering down the screen when the user leaves to mitigate the risk of burn-in.

For those prioritising pixel density over pure frame rates, the MAG 272UP QD-OLED X24 offers a 4K resolution at 240Hz. Both monitors utilise 4th-generation QD-OLED panels, which offer significant improvements in text clarity and sub-pixel arrangement compared to earlier models. Both units also come standard with a 3-year burn-in warranty, a now-standard inclusion for MSI's enthusiast-tier OLED products to ease long-term reliability concerns.

As is typical with these bundles, MSI notes that quantities are limited and the offer will conclude once the digital key allocation has been exhausted.

KitGuru says: Bundling a tactical RPG like Solasta 2 might seem like an odd choice for a 500Hz screen, but the OLED panel's infinite contrast ratios are a perfect match for the game's visuals.

MSI partners with Pearl Abyss for “Crimson Desert” motherboard bundle

9 March 2026 at 17:00

MSI is joining forces with developer Pearl Abyss, offering gamers a free copy of the highly anticipated open-world action-adventure, Crimson Desert. Until April 6th, 2026, those who purchase select MSI X870E or B850 motherboards will be eligible to claim a Steam code for the game, which is slated for its global release on March 19th, 2026. This promotion provides an excellent opportunity for those building new AM5 systems to secure a major AAA title while upgrading to the latest silicon architecture.

The campaign focuses on MSI's latest motherboard lineup. That includes high-end models like the MEG X870E Ace, which features an upgraded 64MB BIOS ROM and the MSI OC Engine. These boards support cutting-edge connectivity, including Wi-Fi 7, USB4, and multi-gigabit LAN. Furthermore, the EZ DIY design includes tool-free M.2 Shield Frozr heatsinks and simplified expansion slots for effortless hardware upgrades.

To participate in the campaign, buyers must follow a specific redemption window and provide proof of purchase through the official MSI member center. It is important to note that MSI typically requires a 14-day waiting period after the purchase date before a claim can be initiated to account for standard return windows. The purchase period runs from March 6th to April 6th, with the redemption window opening on March 20th and closing on May 4th, or until the supply of codes is exhausted. Once claimed, the game code will remain valid for activation until March 20th, 2027.

For those who don't know the game, Crimson Desert was originally conceived as a prequel to Black Desert Online. However, it evolved into a standalone single-player epic powered by the proprietary BlackSpace Engine. Players take on the role of Kliff, a mercenary of the Greymanes, as he navigates the beautiful yet brutal wilderness and bustling cities of Pywel. The gameplay is characterised by a seamless open world filled with ancient ruins and a complex, skill-driven combat system that encourages the strategic use of weapons and environment-based abilities.

KitGuru says: Are you planning on upgrading your system soon? If Crimson Desert looks like a game you would like, this opportunity might be worthy of your consideration.

Put together by ‘Kirk Collects’ and the curation site Digiphile, the ‘Boomer Shooter Blueprint’ bundle is available to purchase from now until the 11th of March. • Incision
  • CULTIC Chapter One

I Am Your Beast is a level-based boomer shooter which puts emphasis on speed and accuracy, giving you limited weapons and ammo initially in a Hotline Miami-styled gameplay loop of try, die and try again. Featuring a surprisingly emotional narrative, I Am Your Beast is certainly worth giving a go.

Warhammer 40,000 Boltgun on the other hand is another entry in the ever-expanding Warhammer universe. Featuring an early-90s visual set-up blended with Warhammer iconography, Boltgun is worth checking out regardless of your opinion on the IP.

Beyond Citadel meanwhile offers a blend of OG DOOM and classic anime, while upping the gameplay to line-up closer with more modern titles.

Another anime-inspired entry is Mullet Madjack: “a HIGH-OCTANE-ACTION SHOOTER” featuring a cel-shaded aesthetic and vibrant visuals, with an emphasis on completing levels as quickly and efficiently as possible. Full details on all of the included titles can be found HERE.

As with most bundles, a portion of the money will go towards charity, with the Boomer Shooter Blueprint bundle supporting ‘Whale and Dolphin Conservation’ – “the leading charity dedicated to the protection of whales and dolphins.”
