Grand Theft Auto VI is nearly upon us, with the globally anticipated title set to launch on the 19th of November. In ‘celebration’ of this major industry event, Sony has announced and unveiled a set of new limited edition GTA VI themed DualSense controllers to “capture the style and luxury of Vice City.”

Taking to the PlayStation Blog, Sony officially announced and detailed their upcoming Grand Theft Auto VI themed Limited-Edition DualSense controllers.

Coming in both black and white, the controller features embossed palm tree textures alongside “a shimmering, color-shifting finish that brings together the hues of a Vice City sunset and the glow of neon lights.”

Being sold primarily through Sony’s PlayStation Direct marketplace, these controllers will be available to pre-order from the 10th of September for the not-so-insignificant cost of £74.99 – officially launching on the same day at GTA VI: 19th of November.

As with everything GTA VI related, these accessories are likely to be in quite high demand, especially given the fact that these controllers are rather attractive (which can’t be said for some of Sony’s other DualSense designs). Additional details can be found HERE.

Australian hardware manufacturer Singularity Computers has introduced the Spectre Limited Edition Water‑cooling Case, a showcase chassis based on the original Spectre design with the reservoir, D5 pump top and cover built directly into the frame.

The Spectre Limited Edition (via Vortez) is built with a curved CNC‑machined aluminium frame, weighing 12kg. Singularity offers an Event Horizon gloss‑black finish with silver flakes, plus nine custom paint options and a laser‑etched glowing constellation on the rear distribution plate. All distribution plates are pressure‑tested before shipping.

The case supports XL‑ATX motherboards up to 290mm wide and 350mm tall, along with eight PCIe expansion slots. GPU clearance reaches 445mm in length and 170mm in height, and a vertical mounting bracket with a PCIe 5.0 riser cable comes in the box. Cooling support includes two 420mm or 360mm radiators with a combined radiator‑and‑fan thickness up to 100mm, plus a 140mm fan mount behind the CPU socket. Storage support is limited in comparison though, with just two 2.5″ drive mounts.

Singularity’s PowerBoard is built in, offering dedicated fan and pump PWM channels with temperature‑based control, two sensor inputs, eight ARGB headers and a PSU jump‑start function. Buyers can add dual‑loop side distro plates, extra distribution panels or a 1920×480 60Hz IPS display for the PSU shroud. Only 49 units will be produced, with pricing starting at £1,467 / $1,999 / €1,714 and an estimated three‑week delivery window.

KitGuru says: At this price and with a limited run of 49 units, the Specter Limited Edition is clearly aimed at a select few.

While the practice has fallen somewhat out of favour in recent years, Sony does still occasionally produce limited edition PlayStation 5 consoles in alignment with its major AAA releases. Ahead of the official arrival of Marvel’s Wolverine in September, Sony has unveiled a suite of slick limited edition PS5 consoles and controllers.

Taking to the PlayStation Blog to make the announcement, Sony officially unveiled its Limited Edition Wolverine ‘PS5 Console bundle and accessories’. Launching on the 15th of September and available to pre-order from the 19th of August, Sony is offering 3 versions of the ‘console':

• Black and Yellow Digital PS5 (£569.99)
• Black and Yellow PS5 Pro face plates (£64.99)
• Black and White PS5 Pro face plates (£64.99)

Unlike the recently-leaked Zelda-themed Switch 2 console, this Wolverine PS5 keeps things rather minimal, in many ways matching the aesthetics of the game’s box art itself.

Speaking on the mentality behind this design, graphic artist Jock claimed to have “wanted to show Wolverine at his fiercest for Marvel’s Wolverine Limited Edition PS5 Console bundle and accessories,” adding that “I still draw all my artwork traditionally, so the opportunity to marry cutting-edge hardware with the energy and looseness of hand-drawn ink is incredibly exciting. I’m stunned by how well the console and accessories captured the raw energy of the drawing, bringing Wolverine to life in a completely unique way.”

Given just how costly console hardware is nowadays, such limited edition consoles are unfortunately far less feasible – especially for those who already own a standard version of the PS5. At the very least, it is welcome to see that the DualSense controller and face plates will also be available for purchase separately (at £74.99 and £64.99 respectively).

Though the practice may have subsided somewhat in recent years, Nintendo is known for releasing various themed versions of its consoles based on the company’s wide suite of popular IPs. Following recent reports that the console maker is working on a limited edition The Legend of Zelda themed Switch 2 – photos of the product in question have now leaked online.

With 2026 marking the 40th anniversary of Nintendo’s The Legend of Zelda franchise, there had been plenty of leaks and rumours claiming that the console maker was working on a themed Switch 2 and Pro controller to celebrate.

At the time, little was known regarding its design, with insiders simply claiming that it is being structured around Zelda as a whole – and not the upcoming Ocarina of Time remake. As shared by ResetEra user ‘jojoroy’ however, we’ve now gotten a first look at both bits of hardware via their box art.

While perhaps somewhat messier than some might like, both the Switch 2 and Pro Controller feature an even blend of black, gold and forest green colours, including iconography of the Triforce and Hylian crest.

As with pretty much all limited edition Zelda consoles, expect that 40th anniversary offering to be in high demand once it is officially announced.

Microsoft has officially revealed the Xbox Series X25 Limited Edition, a special console created to celebrate 25 years of Xbox. The new model brings a fresh look to the popular gaming system and gives fans a unique way to mark an important milestone in Xbox history.

The Xbox Series X25 Limited Edition stands out with its translucent green design. Both the console and the included wireless controller feature the same transparent finish, allowing users to see parts of the internal structure.
