At the 12th Annual G.Skill OC World Cup at Computex, Gigabyte's professional overclocker, Hicookie, set a new record for DDR5 memory speed using multiple Aorus motherboards. 

Team Gigabyte members Sergmann, Saltycroissant, Madness777, and Exaberries, led by Hicookie, pushed the hardware to set the new world record. The record-breaking DDR5-13556MT/s entry was achieved using 24GB Corsair Vengeance LP DDR5 memory. For this particular record, the team used the Z890 Aorus Tachyon Duo X Ice motherboard paired with an Intel Core Ultra 7 270K Plus CPU running at a mere 2.118GHz across all cores (only 2+2 enabled).

During the event, the same overclocking team took 10 global first places in CPU frequency and various benchmarks. Unlike the memory frequency record, these were achieved using the newly launched X870 Aorus Infinity motherboard, AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 processors, and G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB memory.

Corsair is bringing back the Warthog mid‑tower this year as a steel, airflow‑focused chassis with integrated handles, 360mm radiator support, InfiniRail fan mounting, RapidRoute 2.0 and reverse‑connector motherboard compatibility. Other new cases being announced this week include the 2800X, a compact mATX design with wraparound glass, 360mm top‑radiator support and three RS120‑R reverse‑rotor fans, and the Frame 5000D Wood RS, which adds a solid‑wood front panel, modular interior and support for 420mm radiators.

Corsair’s PSU updates are led by the AX1600i Shift, now using GaN components to deliver Titanium‑rated 1600W output in a compact 170mm housing with side‑mounted Shift connectors, dual 12V‑2×6 ports and iCUE Link monitoring. The HX1000i Shift Crystal adds transparent panels and PinProtect+ OCP, while a refreshed line-up of RMe power supplies now ship with ThermalProtect 12V-2×6 power cables so you can protect an expensive RTX 50 GPU from potential load-balancing issues within the power connector.

Cooling additions include the iCUE Link Titan II Ultra 360 LX LCD, featuring a cross‑flow radiator, FlowDrive Gen 2 pump, TM100 phase‑change TIM and a 5‑inch IPS display. The Titan II 360 RX RGB and RX LCD variants use lower‑density radiators and RX II fans for quieter operation. On top of that, the iCUE Link LX360 offer up a unified fan arrangement, with three fans chained together in a single mounting bracket with a single power cable.

Corsair’s peripheral lineup includes the Clipper Pro Mini 60 Hall Effect keyboard with Rapid Trigger, adjustable actuation and IP57 protection, the Nightsword V2 Wireless SD mouse with a dedicated Stream Deck Launch Button, 33,000 DPI sensor and up to 170‑hour battery life; and the HS35 V3 headsets in wired and wireless versions, both using 50mm drivers with multi‑platform support.

Lifestyle additions include the TC80 gaming chair, featuring a wide flat seat, breathable fabric, Class 4 gas lift and 90–115° recline, and new Xeneon Edge touchscreen colourways, including Crytal for a fully-transparent finish, and Smoke for a tinted, semi-transparent finish.

Corsair has announced a new collaboration with Skybound and Quarter Up for their fighting game Invincible VS. The limited-edition hardware rollout spans three specific products adorned with game-inspired artwork, including a proper fighting game controller, an XL sized mouse mat, as well as a faceplate.

The headline product is the Novablade Pro Wireless Hall Effect leverless fighting game controller: Invincible VS Edition, which features a custom faceplate depicting Omni-Man and Invincible. The controller integrates fast-actuating Corsair MGX Hyperdrive Hall Effect magnetic switches, enabling adjustable actuation points and Rapid Trigger technology for accelerated key resets. Corsair has announced Shugo DDR5, a limited‑edition memory line that pairs high‑end DDR5 performance with Japanese‑inspired art designs created in collaboration with community artists. The series launches with two themes, Onyx Blade and Sakura Noa, each produced in limited quantities for collectors and showcase‑PC builders.

Shugo DDR5 uses premium aluminium heat spreaders with layered UV and pad printing to turn each module into a visual centrepiece. Corsair’s new light‑emitting micro‑drilling technology allows RGB lighting to shine through patterns cut directly into the artwork, creating effects that blend into the design rather than sitting on top of it. The modules include individually addressable RGB LEDs and full support for Corsair iCUE.

As you may expect from an enthusiast product, these DDR5 modules use binned ICs and a custom PCB, improving signal integrity and overclocking headroom. The kits are compatible with both Intel and AMD systems, and for those who want to fill up all of their RAM slots without breaking the bank, you can also get matching Light Enhancement Kits, which use the same designs as the proper memory DIMMs, but don't actually contain any memory. This allows system builders to populate all of the RAM slots on their motherboard without going overboard on capacity and by extension, price.

Corsair Shugo DDR5 will debut in 32GB (2x 16GB) kits rated up to 6000MT/s CL28 at 1.4V. A set-up with two DDR5 memory modules and two Light Enhancement modules costs €662.99.

Corsair has introduced Corsair Pro, a new portfolio of enterprise hardware designed for scaling AI workloads. The launch marks an expansion of the company's hardware footprint into dedicated AI infrastructure, grouping professional desktop workstations and rackmount servers.

The Corsair Pro hardware selection is divided into two system tracks depending on scale. The workstation segment includes the FlexPrime V20R, FlexPrime V50R, FlexPrime V80T, and the rack-convertible FlexPrime R80T, which are configured for local AI execution, prototyping, and shared research lab environments. The server segment introduces the FlexGrid G2E2, FlexGrid MG4E2, FlexGrid HG8E2, and FlexGrid MI8E2 to handle multi-GPU computing, distributed cluster training, and high-density production environments.

Within the deskside platform lineup, the FlexPrime V80B workstation is the highlight. This model is powered by the Nvidia GB300 Grace Blackwell Ultra Desktop Superchip, which uses its shared-memory architecture to support dense data modelling and large-parameter workloads directly at a desktop station. The systems can be ordered with a pre-validated software stack that includes pre-installed versions of PyTorch and TensorFlow calibrated to the specific hardware layout, along with pre-configured Docker and Kubernetes environments.

The Corsair Pro systems will be available in multiple configurations, split up by memory capacities, accelerator types, and processing environments. General availability and regional component choices will vary by model and region. The cheapest units start at around $1,050 (without OS, CPU, memory, storage, or GPU).

Hardware enthusiast wxnod identified a Corsair Vengeance DDR5 module using CXMT-sourced DRAM silicon, a notable departure for Corsair, which has traditionally sourced its memory chips from other manufacturers.

wxnod (via Wccftech) shared CPU-Z screenshots detailing the specific hardware of these kits, identified as the “CMK5X16G3E60C36A2”, a 16GB Vengeance DDR5-6000 module distributed as part of 32GB dual-channel kits. According to the technical readings, the module runs at DDR5-6000 frequencies with latencies configured at 36-44-44-96 under a 1.35V operating voltage. The memory includes programmed profiles to support both AMD EXPO and Intel XMP overclocking standards.

At the moment, much of the global DRAM market is controlled by Samsung, SK Hynix and Micron, all of which have raised prices amid a surge of demand from AI datacentres. If China's memory chips become more globally available, it could help alleviate the pressure currently on the consumer market and bring some stability back.

SCUF Gaming has announced the Omega, a high-performance controller officially licensed for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Pro. The controller features 1K polling, Omron mechanical switches, and TMR thumbsticks designed for increased durability. 

The SCUF Omega features 11 additional customisable inputs, including rear paddles, side-action buttons, and G-keys. For the first time, SCUF has introduced a dedicated mobile app for iOS and Android, allowing users to adjust trigger response curves, thumbstick deadzones, and rebind inputs in real time. The controller uses Omron mechanical switches for the D-pad and action buttons to provide tactile activation.

Hardware specifications include TMR (Tunnel Magnetoresistance) thumbsticks, which are engineered to resist wear and stick drift while maintaining traditional tension. The controller also features “Instant Triggers” for near-zero travel time and refined ergonomics, omitting vibration modules to reduce overall weight. When used on PC, the Omega supports a 1000Hz polling rate in both wired and wireless modes.

The SCUF Omega features a built-in rechargeable battery and supports fast charging. While compatible with the broader PlayStation ecosystem, the controller is specifically optimised for the PS5 Pro's hardware. Uneven power distribution on 12V‑2×6 connectors has led to overheating concerns for some RTX 5090 buyers, but third‑party cable makers like Corsair are now introducing new safety features to address the issue. Corsair's new ThermalProtect 12V‑2×6 GPU power cable can shut down a graphics card if it detects dangerously high temperatures at the connector.

ThermalProtect adds an additional layer of over‑temperature protection by monitoring the cable 30mm from the GPU plug, with the sensor hardware built into a cable comb to keep the design unobtrusive. If the sensor registers extreme heat, the kind associated with poor seating, uneven pin contact or cable strain, then the system triggers a GPU shutdown to prevent damage.

The first product to use the technology is a standalone 12V‑2×6 cable compatible with any power supply that includes a native 12V‑2×6 output. It requires no configuration and functions as a plug‑and‑play replacement for standard PCIe 5.1 GPU cables. Corsair says the single‑cable design also reduces clutter compared to multi‑plug adapters and includes grey‑tipped connectors to make it easier to confirm a fully seated fit.

The cable features a flexible sleeved design for easier routing and is available in black or white, with a 650mm length to accommodate larger cases. The cable is available now, costing £18.50 on Amazon UK.

Corsair is making a significant expansion to its Frame 4000 chassis lineup, introducing the Frame 4000X RS and the Frame 4000D Wood RS, alongside a new web-based configurator tool. 

Starting with the new cases, the two entries in this lineup cater to polar opposite design sensibilities. Available in black and white, the Frame 4000X RS is built for the RGB enthusiast, featuring a ventilated “RGB Flow” front panel embedded with 64 customisable LEDs. It comes out of the box with four RS120 fans, providing a light show that can be controlled via standard motherboard headers. On the other hand, the Frame 4000D Wood RS targets a sophisticated, organic look. Its front panel is crafted from a single piece of FSC-certified wood, available in black/walnut or white/oak. These front wood panels are designed specifically to maintain high airflow while allowing the PC to blend into modern home or office decor.

Corsair is officially expanding its presence in the peripheral market with a refresh of its MM mousepad family. The new lineup introduces three distinct tiers, headlined by the company's first foray into the premium glass segment: the MM Glass Large. 

Measuring 400mm x 500mm, the MM Glass Large is the flagship of the range. Constructed from tempered glass, it features a 0.2μm micro-etched surface to provide maximum speed without the “skating” feeling that can lead to a lack of control. To address common complaints regarding glass pads, Corsair has applied a matte sound-dampening treatment to reduce the high-pitched “clacking” of mouse feet. The pad is held in place by a 1mm polyurethane base and features CNC-sculpted rounded edges to prevent cable snagging.

For those who prefer a more traditional feel, the MM Pro Control offers a cloth alternative. These pads utilise a high-density, micro-textured woven surface.
