Silent Hill 2 and 7 others leaving PS Plus next month
Sony’s monthly ritual of giving with one hand and taking with the other is back. Eight titles are dropping off PS Plus this October, and the one everyone’s going to miss is Silent Hill 2.
The countdown starts now
According to PlayStation Lifestyle, the exit date for these titles is October 20, 2026, so there’s a bit of breathing room before the axe falls. The Silent Hill 2 removal feels oddly timed too, seeing as Silent Hill: Townfall is due out this same month. If you’ve never got round to the remake, this is basically Sony nudging you to finally play it. Yakuza: Like a Dragon is the other one worth mourning here, it’s a proper long game, so don’t leave it to the last week.

Here’s everything on the way out from PS Plus:
- Silent Hill 2
- Yakuza: Like a Dragon
- Jurassic World Evolution 2
- Death Squared
- Rogue Lords
- Gloomhaven Mercenaries Edition
- Harvest Moon: Light of Hope Special Edition
- Lake

The rest of the list is fine to shrug off unless one of them’s already installed and half finished. No need to rush, but October 20 is the hard cutoff, so don’t get caught out.
