A Dozen games are set to leave PlayStation Plus next month

22 June 2026 at 11:00

Each month, Sony introduces a variety of new and returning titles to its PlayStation Plus Extra / Premium subscription service. Unfortunately, we likewise see a number of games taken away each month – with July’s departees now being officially announced.

In going to the ‘Last Chance to Play’ section on the PS5’s PlayStation Plus tab, users will find a list of a dozen titles which are set to be removed from the service (likely during the 3rd week of July).

Though far from the harshest of months when it comes to game departures, there are a great deal of notable indies which are worth checking out before they’re gone; with the full list being as follows:

  • Risk of Rain 2
  • Tropico 6
  • Clash: Artifacts of Chaos
  • Roki
  • Source of Madness
  • Cursed to Golf
  • Hundred Days
  • OneeChanbara Origin
  • Get Even
  • Bomber Crew
  • Space Crew
  • Infinite Minigolf

PlayStation Plus

While each of these games are worth playing in their own right, one of the more disappointing departees is Risk of Rain 2. An excellent rogue-like in all respects, one could spend dozens or even hundreds of hours unlocking new characters; abilities; build-crafting or just seeing how far you and your friends can go.

Tropico of course is another great game, and one which you could equally spend hundreds of hours on managing your island state. That said, the likes of Roki; Source of Madness and Cursed to Golf can easily be completed between now and their inevitable removals sometime mid-July.

PlayStation has revealed its June 2026 batch of PS Plus Extra and Premium games, adding seven new games to the game catalog available to subscribers at the Extra tier, while Premium subscribers get an eighth game via the Classics catalog. On top of the three games already added for Essential subscribers, headlining this month's games is the 2023 epic, Final Fantasy XVI, which also enters the service alongside other deep narrative experiences. Just a few short months after it received an update for current-gen platforms, Kingdom Come: Deliverance rides into the PS Plus Extra game catalog alongside FFXVI. Those two […]

PS Plus Extra’s May 2026 Additions Headlined by Star Wars Outlaws and Red Dead Redemption 2 Joining the Game Catalog

13 May 2026 at 17:11

The image shows the PlayStation Plus 'Game Catalog' with new games including The Thaumaturge, Star Wars Outlaws, Bramble: The Mountain King, Red Dead Redemption II, Bakugan: Champions of Vestroia, and Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn, available on 'Premium' and 'Extra' plans.

PlayStation has revealed May's batch of PS Plus Extra and Premium games joining the Games Catalog and the Classic's Catalog, and it's a pretty solid list of seven games joining the service, headlined by Star Wars Outlaws and Red Dead Redemption 2, with an eighth title joining the Classic's library. This batch is arguably a better offering than what we had last month, especially considering that one of the bigger titles from April's PS Plus Extra games, Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered, was a game that was previously available in the PS Plus Extra library, only to be removed and then […]

Star Wars Outlaws and Red Dead 2 headline PlayStation Plus this month

13 May 2026 at 16:30

Sony has announced the next wave of PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium titles for May, with Star Wars Outlaws and Red Dead Redemption 2 leading this month’s update.

Star Wars Outlaws brings Ubisoft’s open‑world scoundrel adventure to the service, letting players explore new and familiar planets while navigating the galaxy’s criminal underworld. Red Dead Redemption 2 also returns to the catalogue as a PS Plus re‑release, offering the full single‑player campaign and access to Red Dead Online. Other additions include Nordic‑inspired horror adventure Bramble: The Mountain King, the supernatural RPG The Thaumaturge, and several new action and story‑driven titles across PS5 and PS4.

Here is the full list of titles coming to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium on May 19:

  • Star Wars Outlaws (PS5)
  • Red Dead Redemption 2 (PS4)
  • Bramble: The Mountain King (PS5, PS4)
  • The Thaumaturge (PS5)
  • Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn (PS5)
  • Broken Sword – Shadow of the Templars: Reforged (PS5, PS4)
  • Enotria: The Last Song – Standard Edition (PS5)

For PlayStation Plus Premium members, this month’s lone classic addition is Time Crisis (PS5, PS4). First released in arcades in 1995 before becoming a breakout hit on the original PlayStation, Time Crisis is best remembered for its fast‑paced light‑gun shooting, cover‑based pedal mechanic and its status as one of the defining arcade shooters of its era.

The PlayStation Plus logo is displayed alongside a layered, yellow cross with PlayStation symbols.

PlayStation's long-running subscription service, PlayStation Plus (or PS Plus for short) has been through a lot of iterations since it was first introduced all the way back during the PlayStation 3 era. Below, you'll find lists of every game available at each tier of PS Plus subscription, including breakdowns of the different tiers and their prices. We'll also keep […]

11 March 2026 at 16:58

A graphic for 'PlayStation Plus' showcases new games in the 'Game Catalog', including Blasphemous II, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine, The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria, Metallic Child, Persona 5: Royal, and Madden NFL 26.

Yesterday, the ever-reliable leaker Billbil-kun at Dealabs leaked six of the games that would be included in the March 2026 batch of PS Plus Extra and Premium games. Today, as expected, PlayStation revealed the official announcement of this month's new catalog entries, confirming all previously leaked titles and adding a seventh game to boot in Blasphemous 2. Those six titles leaked titles, as a reminder, are: Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2, Metal Eden, Persona 5 Royal, Madden NFL 26, Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria, and Astroneer. Persona 5 Royal Ultimate Edition, Madden NFL 26 and more confirmed for PlayStation Plus

11 March 2026 at 17:05

Following on from leaks last night, Sony has announced the next wave of games for the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium catalogues. A number of big games will be added to the PlayStation Plus Extra library this week, including Persona 5 Royal and Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2.

Persona 5 Royal is a standout game on the list. It is the highest-selling Persona game to date and really put the series on the map for a whole new audience. In the Royal edition, you get some extra content over the base edition of the game, including a new character to learn all about. Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is also a big hit for March, providing hours of action up against vicious Tyranid swarms.

Here is the full list of titles joining PlayStation Plus Extra on March 17th:

  • Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 | PS5
  • EA Sports Madden NFL 26 | PS5
  • Persona 5 Royal | PS5, PS4
  • Persona 5 Royal – Ultimate Edition | PS4
  • Blasphemous 2 | PS5, PS4
  • Metal Eden | PS5
  • Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria | PS5
  • Astroneer | PS5, PS4

PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers will get one extra game this month – Tekken Dark Resurrection. It will be made available at the same time as the new PlayStation Plus Extra titles.

PlayStation Plus Extra line-up for March has leaked early

11 March 2026 at 12:30

A couple weeks into each month, Sony announces and releases its line-up of PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium titles. As with most months however, leakers have uncovered Sony’s plans early – revealing a pretty meaty month for PS Plus Extra including but not limited to Persona 5 royal and Warhammer 40K Space Marine 2.

As reported by Billbil-kun via dealabs (who has accurately leaked tons of previous monthly line-ups), PlayStation Plus Extra / Premium subscribers are set to receive a strong selection of titles next week. While things could of course change, as it stands Sony is set to bring half a dozen titles to the service on the 17th of March, namely:

  • Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 (PS5)
  • Persona 5 Royal (PS5 | PS4)
  • Madden NFL 26 (PS5)
  • Metal Eden (PS5)
  • The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria (PS5)
  • Astroneer (PS4)

For many, the headliners for the month are Persona 5 Royal and Warhammer 40,000 Space Marine 2.

Of course, Persona 5 Royal is the expanded/complete version of ATLUS’ 2016 JRPG. Released in 2019 (2020 in the West) the title introduced new characters; confidants; a 3rd semester and more. If you’ve not played Persona 5 in any capacity, Royal will have you sorted out for the next 100-150 hours or so.

Space Marine 2 on the other hand released in 2024 – a decade on from its first entry. The wait was worth it however, with the action-heavy 3rd-person shooter going on to sell millions of copies. Since launch, the title has only continued to improve, with the game receiving a ton of major updates, adding all sorts from new weapons to modes and much more; meaning now (well, next week) is as good a time as any to get stuck in.

Of course, Sony have yet to make the announcement themselves, and so we will have to wait and see, but Billbil’s track record when it comes to PlayStation Plus has been pretty much spotless and so expect the above to be your PS Plus Extra titles for the month of March.

KitGuru says: What do you think of this month’s offerings? Which title are you most looking forward to trying? How long was your first Persona 5 playthrough? Let us know down below.

March’s PS Plus Extra Games Have Leaked, Will Include Space Marine 2, Metal Eden, Persona 5 Royal and More

10 March 2026 at 19:03

A collage featuring characters from 'Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2,' 'Persona 5,' and an unidentified sci-fi game.

As they do pretty much every month, thanks to the same reliable source, Billbil-kun at Dealabs, the monthly PS Plus Extra and Premium Game Catalog titles have leaked. Or at least, some of them have, and there will likely be a few more revealed tomorrow when the official announcement is live. According to the report, while players won't be able to expect Dragon's Dogma II, we will get Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2, Metal Eden, Persona 5 Royal, and more. The note about Dragon's Dogma II is regarding a rumor that gained some traction regarding the March 2026 batch of […]
