Razer has introduced the Seiren V3 Chroma 32‑Bit DSP, a new USB microphone that brings the processing features of the company’s flagship Seiren V3 Pro to a more affordable, RGB‑equipped model.

The Seiren V3 Chroma 32‑Bit DSP operates at 24/32‑bit depth and 48/96 kHz sample rates, with hardware‑level DSP handling real‑time adjustments to maintain consistent vocal output. Razer is also bringing its AI‑powered processing suite to the microphone, including noise reduction, automatic EQ, compression and limiting, all running directly on the device.

A 16mm supercardioid condenser capsule sits at the centre. Due to the pickup pattern, the microphone will naturally avoid picking up noise from behind or to the sides of the mic, focusing directly on the speaker in front of the microphone. Other features include a tap‑to‑mute sensor on the top, with additional double‑ and triple‑tap functions configurable through Razer Synapse for lighting control or audio toggles.

As part of the Chroma ecosystem, the Seiren V3 Chroma includes stream‑reactive RGB lighting that can respond to chat interactions, alerts and supported in‑game events. The update adds support for image‑generation models such as Tongyi‑MAI/Z‑Image‑Turbo and FLUX.2‑klein‑base‑4B, enabling developers to prototype and deploy generative features through a unified workflow. Arm64 support extends AIKit to systems built on NVIDIA’s latest professional platforms, including DGX Spark and hardware powered by Grace Hopper and Grace Blackwell Superchips, allowing teams to operate consistently across x86 and Arm environments.

For AVA Mini, Razer partnered with Akash Network to run AIKit across a distributed pool of consumer GPUs, reducing inference costs to US$0.01 per image. The five‑day campaign generated over 11,000 images with an average turnaround of 3.24 seconds and required no manual intervention.

Razer is stepping away from its gamer aesthetic to challenge the productivity market. The newly unveiled Razer Pro Type Ergo is a wireless split-ergonomic keyboard designed for professionals. 

The Pro Type Ergo uses a split layout that positions the keys in a tented, angled configuration, keeping the user's hands and shoulders in a more natural alignment. To ensure a smooth transition for users coming from traditional keyboards, Razer has implemented dual “B” keys, dual space keys, and a centre backspace. This “Alice-style” approach minimises finger crossover.

Razer isn't just relying on the split shape to do the heavy lifting. The keyboard features a 10° base slope and offers five adjustable typing angles, including both front and rear tilts at 4° or 7°. This level of adjustability allows for fine-tuning, whether the user is at a standard desk or a standing workstation.

Under the hood, the Pro Type Ergo uses low-profile, fingertip-shaped keycaps. These keys feature subtle spherical indents to guide the fingers into a centred position. To ensure its office-friendly, Razer has packed the chassis with sound-dampening layers and tuned stabilisers to provide a quiet, tactile experience that won't disrupt open workspaces or video calls.

For connectivity, the keyboard offers 5-way multi-device support via HyperSpeed Wireless (2.4GHz), 3x Bluetooth profiles, and a USB-C port for wired connection.

Razer has introduced the 2026 refresh of the Blade 16, retaining the same ultra‑thin chassis as previous models while upgrading the internal hardware with Intel’s latest processors, faster memory and new connectivity options.

The new Blade 16 is powered by Intel’s Core Ultra 9 386H processor, a 16‑core chip with a maximum turbo frequency of 4.9GHz and an integrated NPU capable of up to 50 TOPS for AI‑accelerated tasks. The system can be configured with up to 64GB of LPDDR5X‑9600 memory, offering higher bandwidth for demanding creative and development workloads.

For gaming, you have an RTX 5080 laptop GPU inside, along with 32GB of system RAM, making the new Blade 16 more than capable for high-end gaming. Razer says the updated cooling system, which includes a refined vapor chamber, thin fins and dual fans, is designed to maintain stable performance inside the 14.9mm chassis. The laptop also supports Razer’s HyperBoost feature when paired with the Razer Laptop Cooling Pad, allowing higher TGP levels on supported models.

The display has been updated to a brighter 16‑inch QHD+ OLED panel running at 240Hz, with VESA DisplayHDR TrueBlack 1000 certification and peak HDR brightness up to 1100 nits. Each unit ships with Calman‑verified calibration and full DCI‑P3 coverage.

Battery life has been improved compared to the 2025 model, with Razer quoting up to 13 hours of productivity use and up to 15 hours of video playback. Connectivity now includes Thunderbolt 5, Wi‑Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, HDMI 2.1, USB‑A and a UHS‑II SD card reader.

The 2026 Razer Blade 16 will be available soon, with prices starting at £3099.99 for the RTX 5080 configuration.

Razer expands its competitive gaming line-up this week with two new peripherals, the Viper V4 Pro wireless mouse and the new Gigantus V2 Pro series mouse mats. The mouse mats are particularly interesting, as they come in five different surface options, providing varying levels of friction depending on user preference.

The Viper V4 Pro is the latest update to Razer’s lightweight esports mouse. It uses the company’s HyperSpeed Wireless Gen 2 technology with true 8000Hz polling in both wired and wireless modes, reducing click and motion latency.

The mouse is built around the Focus Pro 50K Gen‑3 optical sensor, offering up to 50,000 DPI, 930 IPS tracking and 90G acceleration. A new Frame Sync feature aligns sensor scans with polling cycles to minimise motion latency. The V4 Pro also includes Gen 4 optical switches rated for 100‑million clicks, an optical scroll wheel and a redesigned shell that brings the weight down to 49–50g depending on colour.

Razer is also launching the Gigantus V2 Pro mouse mats, available in five speed ratings, ranging from high‑friction control surfaces to low‑friction speed options. Each version uses a different weave pattern and a matching GlideCore foam firmness to adjust glide and stopping power. The mats feature stitched edges, an anti‑slip base and a rollable, warp‑resistant design for travel.

The Viper V4 Pro will be priced at £159.99 while the Gigantus V2 Pro Large mouse mat costs £49.99.
