Cougar has expanded its CPU cooling lineup with the introduction of the FRZ 412 ARGB and FRZ 412 Elite ARGB single-tower coolers. Both models offer a 240W TDP rating alongside broad Intel and AMD socket support.

The standard FRZ 412 ARGB (via ITHome) incorporates a top-mounted dot-pixel display for real-time CPU or GPU temperature tracking, an integrated RGB strip, and black-finished aluminium fins. Cooling performance relies on four 6mm Direct Touch heat pipes running through a 160mm-tall heatsink with an offset base designed to preserve memory clearance in the first RAM slot. Cougar pairs the heatsink with an FDB-bearing fan featuring ring-surrounded blades, operating from 0 to 2500 rpm to deliver up to 74.52CFM of airflow and 3.66mmH2O of static pressure.

Stepping down to the FRZ 412 Elite ARGB omits the top display, front RGB lighting, and black fin coating in favour of a chrome finish. While fan performance metrics match the standard version with up to 2500rpm speed, 74.52CFM airflow, and 3.66mmH2O pressure, the Elite swaps the FDB bearing for a rifle bearing. Both coolers feature a rated 240W TDP and support Intel LGA115x, 1200, 1700, and 1851 sockets alongside AMD AM4 and AM5 platforms.

KitGuru says: Following the introduction of the FRZ 612 ARGB series, the more compact FRZ 412 ARGB CPU coolers bring similar specs in a more compact form factor. Hopefully, that will also mean a lower price point.

Cougar has announced the FRZ 612 ARGB, a dual-tower CPU cooler featuring a top-mounted dot-pixel display, carbon fiber-style accents, and a 260W TDP rating.

Built around an aluminium fin heatsink with six copper heatpipes, the FRZ 612 ARGB (via ITHome) stands at 160mm tall with a depth of 135mm. Adjusting the front fan to clear taller memory modules increases overall height up to 170mm, providing up to 53mm of RAM clearance. Cougar Digital software controls the top-mounted dot-pixel display, letting users toggle the screen or switch between displaying CPU and GPU temperatures in °C or °F.

Cooling is handled by two FDB-bearing fans running up to 2500RPM, which deliver 74.52CFM of airflow and 3.66mmH2O static pressure at full speed. Cougar uses ring-surrounded blades with markings to dampen noise, alongside a 0rpm mode for silent operation during light workloads. The central fan omits LED lighting to keep the focus on the front ARGB illumination and top display.

The cooler supports AMD AM5 and AM4 platforms, as well as Intel LGA 1851/1700/1200/115X sockets.

COUGAR has officially introduced the new Cougar CFV220 RGB mid tower PC case, expanding its growing lineup of gaming chassis. The case was first shown during Computex 2026 and is now available as a more compact version of the larger CVF235 model.

The CFV220 RGB features a stylish design with three tempered glass panels that allow users to showcase their hardware. It measures 235 x 504 x 446 mm and includes a ventilated lower chamber with built-in ARGB lighting to improve airflow while adding visual appeal.

The chassis supports a wide range of motherboard sizes, including Mini-ITX, Micro-ATX, ATX, and back-connector designs. This gives builders plenty of flexibility when planning a new PC build.

For cooling, Cougar includes three pre-installed 120 mm ARGB PWM fans. Two fans are located at the bottom as intake fans, while a third fan is installed at the rear for exhaust. These fans can operate at speeds of up to 2200 RPM and support motherboard RGB synchronization through standard 5V ARGB and 4-pin PWM connections.

Users can further expand cooling by installing up to six fans in total. The top panel supports either three 120 mm fans or two 140 mm fans. It can also accommodate up to a 360 mm liquid cooling radiator, making the case suitable for high-performance gaming systems.

The CFV220 RGB offers generous hardware compatibility. It supports graphics cards up to 420 mm long, CPU coolers up to 170 mm tall, and power supplies up to 160 mm in length.

Storage options include one 3.5-inch drive bay and one 2.5-inch drive bay. Users can convert the 3.5-inch bay into an additional 2.5-inch mounting location if needed. The case also includes seven expansion slots for add-in cards.

On the front I/O panel, users will find a high-speed USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 Type-C port capable of 20 Gbps transfers, two USB 3.0 Type-A ports, a combo audio jack, and a dedicated RGB control button. A removable sliding dust filter is also included to help keep the system clean.

Cougar CFV220 RGB PC case availability and price

The Cougar CFV220 RGB will be available in both black and white color options. The company has not yet revealed pricing or availability details, but the case brings a strong mix of style, cooling performance, and hardware support for modern PC builders.

Cougar's chassis range expands with the NU 700 full‑tower and NU 500 mid‑tower, both supporting E‑ATX, SSI‑EEB and CEB motherboards alongside dual‑GPU layouts. The NU 700 accommodates two PSUs and up to dual 360mm or a single 420mm radiator, while the NU 500 supports a front‑mounted 360mm unit. As you may expect, both of these are positioned towards the workstation market, rather than for gamers.

Cougar is also introducing the Duoair series, which shifts the PSU to the front to create a vertical intake path for airflow. The CFV220 goes in a different direction, adding a Central Flow Vent chamber, triple‑glass side panels and compatibility with reverse‑connector motherboards, making it ideal for a showcase gaming build.

In cooling, Cougar unveiled the LQX Pro 360 and LQX Elite 360 AIOs, both using VRX PWM fans. The Pro model integrates a 3.95‑inch 720×720 IPS display and a VRM fan, while the Elite version replaces the screen with a frosted ARGB panel. Air‑cooling options include the FRZ 612 dual‑tower and FRZ 412 ARGB single‑tower coolers, each with a digital temperature display, plus the display‑free FRZ 412 Elite ARGB.

Cougar’s PSU lineup now scales up to 3200W with the WS 3200, 2400, 2000 and 1600 models, all ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 compliant with up to four 12V‑2×6 connectors. The Polar V2 series introduces a compact 150mm frame, while the PV series offers 80 Plus Platinum efficiency.

The furniture range includes the Arker chair with a steel frame and extendable footrest, the Speeder Elite mesh chair with full ergonomic adjustments, and the suede‑style Fusion EX. Cougar is also showing the E‑Ares 160 sit‑stand desk and the fixed‑height Ares 160, both using a carbon‑fibre laminate surface.

Finally for peripherals, Cougar has the new 58g Revenger Pro 8K mouse with a 30,000 DPI Pixart sensor and the Phaze 8K wired 98% keyboard, which features an 8K polling rate, 4K scan rate and magnetic switches.

Cougar has expanded its case lineup with the airflow-focused MX600 Max RGB, a mid-tower case featuring two pre-installed 200mm front ARGB fans and a modular I/O that allows users to mount on top or the bottom of the front panel.

The MX600 Max RGB (via Overclocking.com) has two integrated airflow deflectors: one at the base to direct air toward the graphics card and another along the motherboard tray that serves as a cable management channel. Internal clearance supports CPU coolers up to 170mm in height and graphics cards up to 400mm in length. An adjustable GPU support bracket is built into the frame to prevent card sag.

The MX600 Max RGB is compatible with ATX motherboards that use back-side connectors. The top panel is fully removable to facilitate access to EPS connectors and the installation of cooling hardware. While the front is limited to the pre-installed fans, the top panel supports radiators up to 360mm. The pre-installed 200mm fans operate between 300RPM and 1000RPM, delivering 140.4CFM of airflow and 1.5mmAq of static pressure, while the single rear 120mm ARGB fan runs up to 1400RPM. The front fan bracket is designed exclusively for 200mm units.

Storage options include a drive bay for either one 3.5-inch or two 2.5-inch drives, plus two additional 2.5-inch mounts behind the motherboard tray. For cable and lighting management, the case includes an integrated PWM/RGB hub.

KitGuru says: Pricing isn't known, but considering the non-Max is sold for around £100, this one shouldn't stray too far from that.
