Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy has been officially rated for the Nintendo Switch 2

13 April 2026 at 08:00

As part of Marvel’s renewed interest in the video games market, the superhero giant partnered with a number of different publishers and studios to develop a range of games based on their iconic legacy of characters. While this has led to major successes (with Insomniac’s Spider-Man games) and infamous failures (such as the live-service Avengers title), the initiative also spawned a number of more forgotten projects. Fortunately, one of their most underrated releases – Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy – could be getting another chance at life, with the ill-fated 2021 title seemingly set to land on the Nintendo Switch 2 soon.

As discovered by reddit user ‘venom_daemon’ the Taiwanese Game Rating Board recently published a listing for Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy for the Nintendo Switch 2, all-but-confirming that the title is scheduled to arrive on Nintendo’s latest system sooner rather than later.

No additional details were revealed, and so for now it is unknown when the game is planned to release. Even so, this latest listing is interesting not only due to the fact that Guardians of the Galaxy was a critical hit yet a commercial miss, but also due to the fact that the title is technically already playable on the OG Switch (albeit only through a cloud streaming version).

Guardians of the Galaxy Switch 2

Upon its release, Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy was somewhat unfairly maligned, with the sour taste of the previous year’s live-service Avengers tainting the overall perception of the title – despite the fact that it was a wholly different narrative-driven AAA single player experience.

With half a decade of hindsight behind us however, it will be interesting to see what players think of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy upon its eventual arrival onto the Switch 2.

The Super Mario Galaxy Movie premieres to ‘Rotten’ critic score

2 April 2026 at 09:30

The Super Mario Bros. Movie was a huge success for Nintendo, with the console maker’s first proper foray into the film scene going on to earn over $1.3 Billion at the box office following its release back in 2023. With its sequel ‘The Super Mario Galaxy Movie’ officially out now in cinemas, we’ve started to see reviews go live – with it currently sitting at a Rotten Tomato critic score of just 46%.

With a total of 98 critic reviews, The Super Mario Galaxy Movie has so far achieved a Rotten Tomato score of 46% – putting it comfortably in the ‘rotten’ tier. Metacritic is seeing similarly rough scores, currently sitting at a 37 across 35 reviews.

It is worth pointing out that critically the original Super Mario Bros. Movie didn’t do too well either, receiving a Rotten Tomato score of 59% and a Metacritic rating of 46. In both cases, user reviews were much kinder, landing at 95% and 8.1/10 respectively.

Mario Galaxy

In terms of the critiques themselves, many agree that while the visuals themselves are impressive, the story in Galaxy leaves plenty to be desired, with much of the film being a pure nostalgia trip.

That said, for Nintendo these films represent an opportunity to expand the Mario IP out to even wider audiences, and so we will have to wait and see just how much money this – seemingly worse – sequel manages to rake in.

KitGuru says: Have you seen The Super Mario Galaxy Movie yet? How does it compare to the first? Will it break the $1 Billion mark? Let us know your thoughts down below.

Iron Galaxy denies that it is working on Fallout remaster

4 March 2026 at 15:30

Earlier this week, Iron Galaxy appeared to be teasing something after posting about a company meeting, with an image attached of the Fallout ‘Please Stand By' loading screen. Now after sending fans imaginations into overdrive, the studio has apologised.

It turns out, Iron Galaxy just uses the Fallout Please Stand By screen as a slide for its monthly meetings. The studio insists that it is not actually teasing a new game, such as a remaster for Fallout New Vegas.

“Nope! There is nothing to see here. Sorry to disturb the volcanoes, but that was just a BTS look at our company meeting. We use that slide every month and has nothing to do with anything Fallout being worked on. As you can imagine, we love Fallout, too. Now pardon us as we retreat back into our vault”, Iron Galaxy said in its statement.

While a Fallout remaster does not seem to be in the works at Iron Galaxy after all, the studio would still be a good choice of partner studio for such a project. The company already has deep ties to Xbox via the Killer Instinct series, and it has worked with Bethesda on a number of Fallout projects previously as well.

Iron Galaxy may have teased a Fallout New Vegas remaster

3 March 2026 at 16:30

For years, fans have wanted to see Obsidian's Fallout: New Vegas remastered for newer hardware. Development may have actually just begun on that exact thing, according to a teaser from Iron Galaxy Studios.

In a teaser image shared by the studio, Iron Galaxy declared that it had held its February meeting, attaching an image of the ‘Please Stand By' loading screen from Fallout: New Vegas. The belief now is that Iron Galaxy has been tapped to aid in the development of a New Vegas remaster. So far, neither Iron Galaxy nor Bethesda have denied the rumour.

Iron Galaxy Studios has worked closely with both Xbox and Bethesda in the past, handling development for Killer Instinct 3, as well as providing support for projects like The Elder Scrolls Online, Skyrim (various ports) and Fallout 76.

Considering Iron Galaxy's history with Bethesda and the Fallout IP, the studio does make sense for helping out on a remaster. Hopefully it will match the same quality bar that Virtuos set with the Oblivion remaster.

The main highlight of these cases is their special paint finish. The Nova version slowly changes colour between blue, teal, and purple depending on the light and viewing angle. The Galaxy model shifts between pink, green, and grey tones. These effects are soft and elegant, giving the cases a premium look without being too flashy.

Both models are based on the FRAME 4000D design but come with added improvements. A full tempered-glass side panel lets users clearly show their PC parts. The power supply shroud is more compact, leaving space at the bottom for an extra 120 mm fan to improve cooling. Each case also includes a numbered aluminium badge on the top, showing it belongs to a limited-edition series.

Corsair has upgraded the front panel to make daily use easier. The new I/O layout includes three USB Type-C ports. One supports fast speeds up to 20 Gbps, while the other two run at 5 Gbps. A standard audio jack is also included. The power button features built-in lighting and uses a mechanical switch, giving a solid click feel. Users can replace the switch if they prefer a different touch.

Cooling flexibility remains a key strength. The FRAME 4000D Nova series uses Corsair’s InfiniRail fan mounting system, allowing fans to be placed in many positions. The case supports large fans, including up to 200 mm at the front and 140 mm at the top. It also supports dual 360 mm radiators, making it suitable for powerful gaming or work systems. In total, up to 13 standard 120 mm fans can be installed.

Inside the case, a GPU support arm is included to prevent graphics cards from bending over time. The internal side panel can be used to hide cables for a clean look or removed to install extra fans. Storage support includes trays for one 3.5-inch hard drive or two 2.5-inch SSDs. These trays can be removed if users want more space or plan custom cooling.

The limited-edition FRAME 4000D Nova and Galaxy cases are available now through Corsair and its authorised sellers. They are sold without pre-installed fans, giving users full control over their cooling choices. Corsair is offering a two-year warranty along with global customer support.

Corsair launches colour-shifting Galaxy and Nova FRAME 4000D cases

19 February 2026 at 15:00

CORSAIR has added two limited‑edition models to its FRAME 4000D lineup, introducing the Vault Series Nova and Galaxy cases with unique colour‑shift finishes. Nova moves from blue to teal to purple depending on the angle, while Galaxy transitions from pink to green to grey.

Both editions build on the FRAME 4000D chassis and include a compact PSU shroud that leaves room for a 120mm floor fan, a full tempered‑glass side panel, and an upgraded front I/O layout. The updated panel offers three USB‑C ports, with one being an ultra-fast 20Gbps port, while the remaining two offer 5Gbps bandwidth. There is also a 3.5mm audio jack and an ARGB‑lit power button using an MX‑style green mechanical switch.

As part of the FRAME Modular Case System, the Vault Series supports extensive customisation, including panel swaps, component upgrades, and alternative cooling layouts. The InfiniRail fan‑mounting system allows flexible positioning and supports up to 200mm front fans and 140mm fans in the roof. The chassis accommodates dual 360mm radiators and up to 13x120mm fans, with a GPU anti‑sag arm included to support modern graphics cards. The internal side panel can act as a cable cover or be removed to mount additional fans.

Storage options include removable trays for one 3.5‑inch drive or two 2.5‑inch SSDs, and the case integrates cable hooks, tie‑downs, and a mounting pocket for the iCUE LINK System Hub to simplify cable routing. Unfortunately, neither version of the case ships with any pre-installed fans, so you'll need to have some extra budget left over to acquire some.
