Alienware marks its 30th anniversary with four new displays, led by the AW3926QW, the world’s first 39‑inch 5K OLED gaming monitor with an RGB‑stripe tandem panel. The design pushes OLED brightness to 1300 nits while maintaining deep blacks and sharp text, and a dual‑mode feature lets users switch between 5K at 165Hz or 1080p at 330Hz. Connectivity includes DisplayPort 2.1, HDMI 2.1 with eARC and USB‑C with 90W charging, with availability scheduled for later this year.

Alienware is also updating its 34‑inch QD‑OLED ultrawide. The AW3426DW introduces a brighter penta‑tandem panel, a new anti‑reflective coating and a higher 280Hz refresh rate, improving clarity and HDR performance. For more accessible price points, the AW3426DWM and AW3226DM offer QHD/240Hz gaming, starting at just $299.

Alongside Alienware, Dell is rolling out the 2026 XPS lineup, headlined by the redesigned XPS 13, XPS 14 and XPS 16. All three models continue the brand’s focus on premium CNC‑milled aluminium construction, minimalist design and long battery life. The XPS 13 is the thinnest and lightest XPS yet at 12.7mm and 2.2lbs, targeting up to 17 hours of battery life while streaming video. The XPS 14 and XPS 16 scale have the same design and build, but with larger displays and batteries, enabling up to 31 hours of battery life on Intel Core Ultra 3 models. Other specs include up to 32GB LPDDR5x RAM, Arc integrated graphics, as well as PCIe 4 SSDs.

Alienware has launched the AW2726DM, a 27-inch QD-OLED gaming monitor that's most likely the cheapest OLED-type panel in the market. However, as you might expect, it has some limitations, most obviously in its brightness output.

The Alienware AW2726DM (via NotebookCheck) features a QHD resolution of 2560×1440 and a maximum refresh rate of 240Hz. Aimed at the budget-friendly segment, the monitor features a 3-year warranty that covers OLED burn-in. The QD-OLED panel is rated for a typical brightness of 200 nits, peaking at 400 nits in HDR mode. The display provides a 0.03ms response time and 99% DCI-P3 coverage. The 10-bit colour depth panel supports HDR content, but it's not VESA-certified. For a tear-free experience, the monitor supports AMD FreeSync Premium, though official G-Sync compatibility is not listed in the specifications.

Connectivity consists of one DisplayPort 1.4 port, which is required to achieve the full 240Hz refresh rate at 1440p. Two HDMI 2.1 ports are also provided, supporting native resolutions up to 120Hz. A dedicated headphone jack is integrated into the chassis for audio output.

The AW2726DM features a minimalist black design without RGB lighting. The included stand offers ergonomic adjustments for height, tilt, swivel, and pivot. To manage thermal performance and mitigate the risk of permanent image retention, the panel is equipped with a graphite-film heatsink. The monitor is available now for $349.99.

KitGuru says: It's surprising to see the cheapest QD-OLED monitor coming from a brand such as Alienware. Still, with a price tag like that, it is hard to imagine other monitor makers won't follow suit with more midrange OLED offerings.
