A new Metroid game titled Metroid Ravenous was spotted earlier today in Brazil's Ministry of Justice and Public Security's rating system by Universo Nintendo. It was eventually removed, likely at Nintendo's behest, but fans of the sci-fi action franchise are already buzzing with excitement. We're not even a calendar month away from the release of the Super Mario Galaxy Movie, and it looks like Nintendo and Illumination already have a third movie set for 2028, according to an updated version of Universal's schedule on its Spanish website. Spotted by VGC, the updated schedule now lists "Untitled Illumination/Nintendo Event Film (April 2028)" on April 12, 2028.
