ASRock X870E Taichi White Motherboard Review – The Most Beautiful & Fully Decked-Out Taichi For Enthusiasts Under $500
It's been three years since the AMD AM5 motherboard platform and the 600-series motherboards launched. Since its launch, the platform has seen the launch of several CPUs in the Ryzen 7000, Ryzen 8000, and Ryzen 9000 families. While the 600-series motherboards provide great features & compatibility with newer Zen 5 CPUs, motherboard makers are always looking to enhance user experiences through the latest technologies, so AMD has introduced a new chipset line called the 800-series. AMD also introduced both X870 and B850 series chipsets for high-end and mainstream AM5 motherboards. Both of these chips provide brand-new designs and brand-new features […]

Colorful brings Wi-Fi 7 to the mid-range with new B860M and B760M Battle-Ax motherboards
Colorful has updated its mainstream motherboard lineup with the launch of the refreshed Battle-Ax series. This release focuses on bringing the latest wireless standards to value-oriented builders, introducing both the B860M-Plus S WIFI7 and the B760M-Plus S WIFI7.
Positioned as the flagship of this refresh, the B860M-Plus S WIFI7 is engineered for Intel Core Ultra 200S-series processors. To handle the power demands of these new chips, Colorful has implemented a 10+1+1+1-phase 60A DrMOS power design to ensure stable voltage delivery even under sustained loads. As for storage support, the board features three M.2 slots, one of which supports PCIe 5.0 x4. On the memory front, four reinforced slots support dual-channel DDR5 at speeds reaching 8800 MT/s. Notably, Colorful has optimised this board for single-DIMM performance, a feature rarely seen on other boards. Building is also simplified by a tool-free GPU quick-release mechanism and M.2 heatsink designs, which remove the friction often found in compact Micro-ATX assemblies.
For those looking to maximise their current hardware or build with more affordable components, the B760M-Plus S WIFI7 targets the market sweet spot. Supporting Intel 12th, 13th, and 14th Gen Core processors, this board sticks with DDR4 memory support (up to 4800 MHz OC), allowing upgraders to reuse existing kits while still gaining modern features like Wi-Fi 7 and 5GbE LAN.
Despite its value positioning, the B760M model doesn't cut corners. It boasts a 12+1+1-phase 60 A DrMOS power stage, making it capable of comfortably handling high-TDP chips. It also features a reinforced PCIe 5.0 x16 slot, ensuring full compatibility with next-generation graphics cards. Storage is handled by three PCIe 4.0 M.2 slots, each with a full-coverage heatsink to prevent thermal throttling.
KitGuru says: With current market conditions, motherboards such as Colorful's new Battle-Ax models are far more important than any £1000 flagship motherboard.

TP-Link’s Dual-Band & Tri-Band Wi-Fi 7 Routers Maximize Speeds, Range And Lower Latency, Without Destroying Your Budget, Starting From $86.89 On Amazon
There may come a time when you no longer have the option to purchase a ‘price-to-performance’ router because the U.S. government is more concerned with security than letting consumers obtain an exceptional deal on a router. Fortunately, for a limited time, TP-Link’s dual-band and tri-band Wi-Fi 7 routers are available for brand-new price drops on Amazon. If you want the summary right now, you can upgrade your home or office network for less than a $100 bill, so why pass up an excellent deal?
