Over five and a half years after the game's original early access launch, Valheim 1.0 is finally ready, and it comes with a lot of big new additions. Developer Iron Gate and publisher Coffee Stain have confirmed that the indie game, which already sold over 17 million units to date, is officially out now on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch 2, Linux and Mac, and critically, it offers cross-play across all platforms, ensuring that friends can survive together. Early access survival game Valheim, from developer Iron Gate and publisher Coffee Stain Publishing will finally launch out of early access later this year, with a 1.0 release date officially set for September 9, 2026.
