The road to launch for Star Wars: Eclipse is still very much uphill, according to new rumors. Speaking on the Insider Gaming Weekly podcast (Ep. 64), Mike Straw mentioned that the game is still in development hell, and French developer Quantic Dream may soon be sold by NetEase. Star Wars Eclipse, the upcoming action-adventure game that players actually want to see more of from Quantic Dream, is reportedly struggling in its development, as we're coming up on five full years since its reveal in 2021 and development is said to be "very slow going." So slow that the game is apparently "years off from completion," and that's if it actually does get finished, which it might not if Quantic Dream's recently multiplayer title, Spellcasters Chronicles, can't help bring in the funds needed to get Eclipse made.
