Intel’s Serpent Lake SoCs With NVIDIA RTX GPU Tiles Reportedly Arrive In Q1 2028

15 June 2026 at 16:20

Intel Serepent Lake SoCs To Feature NVIDIA RTX GPU Tile, Next-Gen P-Core uArch is Cooper Shark 1

Intel's Serpent Lake SoCs featuring NVIDIA's RTX GPU tiles as integrated graphics are expected to roll out by Q1 2028. Intel & NVIDIA's Co-Developed Serpent Lake SoCs Featuring Next-Gen CPU & GPU Architectures Rumored For Q1 2028 Last year, Intel announced that it was working with NVIDIA on a custom SoC that would incorporate NVIDIA's RTX GPU tiles. Intel stated that these SoCs will power a wide range of PCs that require the integration of these levels of CPUs & GPUs together into a single package. It looks like we have our first timeline of when these SoCs will be […]

Intel Serpent Lake rumored to feature Nvidia RTX GPU tile

7 April 2026 at 10:00

We might be about to witness the most surprising collaboration in the history of x86 computing. The prospect of Intel and Nvidia collaborating on a single SoC is something most would never have thought would happen. However, there are rumours that it might materialise under the Serpent Lake series of chips.

To summarise the chronological order of Intel's upcoming architectures, here's a reminder of what to expect. Following the launch of Nova Lake in late 2026, the focus shifts to Razer Lake-AX in 2027. Then, we'll have Titan Lake and its Serpent Lake branch in 2028/2029, followed by Hammer Lake as the successor in the post-2029 landscape.

According to Jaykihn (via ITHome), the specialised branch of the Titan Lake family known as Serpent Lake will rival AMD's β€œHalo” series in 2028 or 2029. As per the same source, the highlight of Serpent Lake is the integration of a dedicated Nvidia RTX GPU tile. While Intel has made significant strides with its own graphics architectures, partnering with Nvidia for a high-end SoC would effectively leapfrog years of development to tackle AMD's β€œHalo” APU designs head-on.

Beyond this supposed GPU partnership, Intel's roadmap for its core architectures is becoming increasingly dense as we look toward the late 2020s.

KitGuru says: An Intel CPU with an NVIDIA RTX tile sounds like something out of a tech enthusiast's fever dream.Β

Intel Serepent Lake SoCs To Feature NVIDIA RTX GPU Tile, Next-Gen P-Core uArch is Cooper Shark 1

Intel Serpent Lake CPUs are expected to be the first to utilize an NVIDIA RTX GPU tile, while Copper Shark is revealed as a next-gen P-Core architecture. Intel Serpent Lake CPUs To Combine Blue Team's x86 Prowess With NVIDIA's RTX GPUs Recently, it was revealed that Razer Lake-AX will be the first generation of SoCs from Intel that will tackle AMD's Halo lineup. Razer Lake is expected to be the successor to Nova Lake, so it will launch sometime in 2027-2028, but it looks like the first SoC from Intel to utilize an NVIDIA GPU tile will come way later […]

Future Intel Desktop sockets might support several generations of CPUs, as hinted by Robert Hallock in an interview with Club386. Intel Might Finally Offer Extended Desktop Socket Support For Multiple CPU Generations If there's one area where Intel has lagged versus AMD, that's socket support. Since the release of the first "Ryzen" CPU back in 2017, AMD has released two sockets, AM4 and AM5. Meanwhile, Intel has a total of four socket releases since then, starting with LGA 1151, LGA 1200, LGA 1700, & the most recent, LGA 1851 socket. Later this year, Intel will release a fifth socket, LGA […]

Intel's unified core strategy is something the world anticipates as the next pivot towards the P/E-core duopoly, and recent job postings indicate that the shift is being developed internally. Intel Is Looking Towards Pivoting Away From Current P/E-Core Designs, But the Idea is In Early Stages The idea of having one 'big core' has been discussed several times in the past, but it remains unclear how major CPU manufacturers will implement this approach in their next-gen lineups. However, Intel's recent job posting reveals that the company has a dedicated "Unified Core" team working on the venture, further bolstering the credibility […]
