It's time for another big No Man's Sky update, version 7.0, titled COSMOS, which independent developer Hello Games had teased for the game's recent 10th anniversary. Managing Director Sean Murray claims that COSMOS delivers a comprehensive revamp of outer space, introducing player-owned space stations, orbital base building, player alliances, and deep-space salvaging. Players can now purchase, construct, and decorate space stations both inside and out, creating custom player clubhouses and social hubs. Not even two months after the previous 'Remnant' patch, Hello Games is back with another massive No Man's Sky update titled XENO ARENA. This time, the independent UK developer is introducing a full-fledged PokΓ©mon-style battling system.
