Renowned CAPCOM leaker Dusk Golem has commented on the publisher's admission that they are too focused on new Resident Evil entries and remakes of older titles to contemplate any kind of spin-offs. According to the leaker, CAPCOM is addressing this gap in their pipeline by producing longer-form story DLCs for Resident Evil games, including Requiem (which launched earlier this year) and Veronica (due sometime next year). Given that Resident Evil Requiem introduced the option to choose between first-person and third-person, though, fans started wondering if this would be possible in Veronica as well. CAPCOM leaker Dusk Golem claimed today that the Japanese studio is considering whether to give the green light to a Resident Evil Revelations remake. The leaker posted a list of the Resident Evil timeline, going from 0 (which has a remake already in development for a planned 2028 launch, according to Dusk Golem) to Requiem, and it included both Revelation titles.
