Microsoft has officially launched the Xbox Cozy Collection, a new lineup of gaming accessories designed around soft, nature-inspired colors and a more relaxed gaming style. The collection is now available and brings together products from 8BitDo, SteelSeries, and KontrolFreek.

Rather than being a single type of accessory, the collection covers keyboards, mice, controllers, earbuds, and thumb grips. Each product gets a matching color theme while keeping the features gamers would expect from these brands.

8BitDo Brings Keyboards, Mice and Controllers

8BitDo has added three products to the Xbox Cozy Collection. Two of them use the Forest Wonder color theme, including the Retro 87 Mechanical Keyboard and Retro R8 Mouse.

The Retro 87 Mechanical Keyboard features co-developed Kailh tactile switches and a hot-swappable PCB, allowing users to change switches without replacing the entire keyboard. It also includes programmable Super Buttons, a separate control panel, and RGB lighting.

The Retro R8 Mouse comes with a charging dock and Huano micro switches. It also has a magnetic adapter compartment, giving users a simple way to keep the wireless adapter with the mouse.

For players looking for a controller, the 8BitDo Ultimate 3 Controller comes in the Mossy Lagoon theme. It features an improved grip, adjustable joystick tension, and a wireless charging dock. The controller supports wired and wireless connections on Xbox and PC, while Bluetooth connectivity is available for mobile devices.

SteelSeries Adds Matcha and Yuzu Gamebuds

SteelSeries is also part of the Xbox Cozy Collection with its Arctis GameBuds, now offered in Matcha and Yuzu color options.

The wireless earbuds feature Active Noise Cancellation and can quickly switch between 2.4 GHz wireless and Bluetooth 5.3. They also support 360-degree spatial audio and have an IP55 rating for water and dust resistance.

Battery life is rated at up to 40 hours in total, while the Arctis Companion App provides access to more than 200 audio presets for different games and listening preferences.

KontrolFreek Completes the Collection

KontrolFreek rounds out the Xbox Cozy Collection with its No-Slip Thumb Grips. The grips are available in matching Matcha and Yuzu colors and use the company’s GripTek material to provide a more secure feel on controller thumbsticks.

With several types of gaming accessories included, the Xbox Cozy Collection gives players an easy way to build a matching setup without sticking to a single brand. The products are available now through the participating brands and retailers.
