Silicon Power to showcase ROG certified RAM at Computex 2026

27 May 2026 at 14:30

Silicon Power has announced the launch of the XPower Cyclone R DDR5 memory module, a new addition to its performance-focused gaming lineup. As this memory is developed in collaboration with Asus as part of the brand's 20th-anniversary, the module has official ROG-certified status.

The memory module is built on the standard DDR5 architecture, delivering operating speeds of up to 6000MT/s. To maintain reliability under heavy processing loads, the hardware incorporates onboard power management integrated circuits (PMICs) and native on-die Error Correction Code (ECC) technology. The modules also include built-in profiles for AMD EXPO, providing automated overclocking configurations for AMD Ryzen-based PCs.

The design utilises a phantom-black aluminium heat spreader with reverse-slanted gradient lines. There is also an ARGB light bar on the top, which as you would expect, supports Asus Aura Sync. Silicon Power will display the XPower Cyclone R DDR5 memory kits at Computex 2026, which starts next week.

Silicon Power has announced its new ROG Certified XPOWER Cyclone R DDR5 gaming memory, expanding its XPOWER gaming product lineup with a memory kit designed for modern gaming PCs. The company will showcase the new memory module during COMPUTEX 2026.

The XPOWER Cyclone R was developed in collaboration with ASUS and has received the ROG Certified badge. This certification is given to products that meet ASUS’ strict requirements for compatibility, stability, and gaming performance within the Republic of Gamers ecosystem.

Built on the latest DDR5 platform, the XPOWER Cyclone R offers speeds of up to 6000 MT/s. The memory is designed to provide smooth gaming performance, faster multitasking, and reliable operation during demanding workloads. It also includes advanced power management features and on-die ECC technology to help improve system stability.

The new memory module supports AMD EXPO, allowing Ryzen users to enable memory overclocking more easily. Silicon Power says the memory has been extensively tested with ASUS ROG platforms, including high-end motherboards such as the ROG X870E series, to ensure strong compatibility and dependable performance.

In addition to its performance features, the XPOWER Cyclone R introduces a fresh look for the XPOWER brand. It comes with a phantom black aluminium heat spreader featuring angled design elements inspired by the speed and energy of competitive gaming.

RGB lighting support is also included, with compatibility for ASUS Aura Sync and other popular motherboard lighting systems. This allows users to synchronise lighting effects across different components and create a unified PC setup.

Silicon Power Launches Storage CreatePro Series for Content Creators

15 May 2026 at 12:31

Silicon Power has officially introduced its new CreatePro Series, a fresh lineup of storage products made for content creators. The company says the new range is designed to help creators handle every part of their workflow more smoothly, from recording videos to editing and backing up large files.

The CreatePro Series includes memory cards, SSDs, portable storage, card readers, and NAS SSDs. Instead of only focusing on speed and storage size, Silicon Power says the new products are built around how creators actually work in real life.

The company created the series for different kinds of users, including streamers, filmmakers, sports photographers, professional editors, and casual creators. The products are also divided into four main workflow stages: Capture, Transfer, Edit, and Backup.

For recording and capturing content, the new CFexpress CR20B Pro 2.0 Type B card comes with VPG400 certification. This helps creators record high-quality videos with stable write speeds and fewer risks of dropped frames. The company also introduced the CR90D SDXC V90 card and other CFexpress Type B cards for professional cameras and video gear.

For transferring files, the BS10 Card Reader supports both CFexpress Type B and SD 4.0 cards at the same time. This can help creators move files faster from multiple devices. The CR72X Portable SSD also aims to make file transfers easier with both USB Type-A and USB Type-C connectors built into the drive.

Silicon Power CreatePro Series 7

When it comes to editing workloads, the CR75S Internal SSD is designed for demanding tasks like video editing, 3D rendering, and livestream recording. Silicon Power says the SSD delivers fast read and write speeds to keep workflows smooth during heavy use.

The company also focused on long-term storage and backup solutions. The CR55N NAS SSD is made for stable everyday storage and archiving, while the CR90N NAS SSD targets more demanding users who work with large high-resolution files. These NAS drives were tested with QNAP systems to improve compatibility for professional creators.
