Alibaba Cloud Expands European Footprint with Two Availability Zones in France

By: B Enos
19 June 2026 at 10:16

Alibaba Cloud, a leading global provider of AI infrastructure and the intelligence backbone of Alibaba Group, today announced the launch of its cloud region in France. Featuring two availability zones, this launch addresses accelerating demand from European customers across key sectors – including retail, software development, AI-powered creative platforms, and sports tech – for advanced cloud and digital solutions located in Europe. The new facilities in Paris mark Alibaba Cloud’s third European hub, complementing its existing infrastructure in Germany and the UK.

The France region delivers a comprehensive suite of enterprise-grade cloud computing services, spanning elastic computing, storage, containerization, networking, security, databases, and advanced developer tools. Built with strict data privacy and sovereignty in mind, the infrastructure adheres to rigorous European regulatory frameworks and standards, including data privacy, cybersecurity, resilience, and sovereignty.

Now fully operational, the France region equips European businesses with high availability, operational resilience, and robust disaster recovery capabilities. This launch expands Alibaba Cloud’s global network to 105 availability zones across 32 regions, reinforcing its commitment to providing a secure, scalable, and sustainable foundation for global digital innovation.

To meet the growing demand for enterprise agents, Alibaba Cloud plans to launch a suite of agentic AI services in European markets in the second half of this year. The lineup includes AgentRun, a one-stop development platform for AI agents; STAROps, a comprehensive intelligent operations platform; ACS Agent Sandbox, which provides hardware-level security isolation while reducing operational costs of AI agents; Agent Security Center, which ensures agent build-time integrity and supply chain transparency; AI Security Guardrails 2.0, designed for safe model interactions, local compliance, and runtime risk interception; and Agentic SOC, a solution enabling automated threat response and closed-loop auditing. These products are designed to streamline the development and operation of enterprise-scale agents within a secure environment, offering full lifecycle management from development and debugging to deployment, real-world operations, and end-to-end security protection.

“The expansion of our cloud infrastructure into France reinforces our ongoing commitment to empowering European businesses with sovereign, secure, and intelligent solutions,” said Dr. Feifei Li, Chief Technology Officer and President of International Business of Alibaba Cloud. “This expansion, alongside the introduction of our agentic AI services to Europe, aligns with our broader strategy to bring our full-stack AI+Cloud ecosystem to global customers as we enter the agentic era.”

Alibaba Cloud has served European markets since 2016, supporting prominent multinationals in expanding globally while helping local businesses stay competitive. For example, SAP collaborates with Alibaba to jointly accelerate enterprise innovation and digital transformation, with an initial focus on the China market and a rollout planned for Southeast Asia, the Middle East and Africa. Additionally, Alibaba Cloud has been working with local technology partners to deliver tailored cloud and digital solutions across Europe.

During the Olympic Games Paris 2024, Alibaba Cloud served as the Worldwide Olympic Partner and Official Cloud Service Provider, driving the digital transformation of the Games through its cloud and AI innovation. Notably, in partnership with Olympic Broadcasting Services (OBS), Alibaba Cloud launched OBS Cloud 3.0. The initiative made the work of OBS and Media Rights-Holders (MRHs) easier and more efficient, and delivering of live signals over OBS Live Cloud became the main method of remote distribution to broadcasters for the first time in the history of the Olympic Games.

In May 2026, Alibaba announced a multi-year partnership with the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) and UC3, the joint venture between UEFA and European Football Clubs (EFC) that controls and manages the strategic marketing, sales, and delivery of commercial rights for UEFA club competitions. The partnership, starting immediately with UEFA and in 2027 with UC3, will see the deployment of Alibaba’s advanced AI capabilities to support fan engagement and media and content management via its Qwen Large Language Model (LLM). Together with its cloud computing infrastructure and global e-commerce platform, Alibaba will power an immersive fan and content experience worldwide across UEFA’s flagship men’s competitions.

Alibaba Cloud’s expanded presence in Europe underscores its unwavering commitment to driving digital innovation in the region. By providing local businesses with leading AI+Cloud solutions to efficiently build, deploy, and manage AI agents, Alibaba Cloud aims to accelerate their transition from traditional automation to agent-led intelligent operations. At its recent international Qwen Conference, the company unveiled major updates across its foundation models, AI infrastructure, cloud-native tools, and enterprise agent products, helping global enterprises rapidly deploy practical AI agents into day-to-day business environments.

EDIFIER MR5 Studio Monitor Speakers Review – Best Budget-Friendly Studio Monitors?

By: B Enos
15 June 2026 at 19:31

Edifier has built a strong reputation for offering impressive audio hardware at prices that often undercut more traditional studio-focused brands. With the MR5, the company is taking things a step further by offering a tri-amped powered studio monitor system designed for music production, video editing, desktop listening, and general entertainment. With a 3-way driver setup, balanced inputs, Bluetooth 6.0, LDAC support, room compensation controls, and 110W RMS output, the MR5 looks like a very capable all-in-one speaker system on paper. The real question is, will it live up to the hype? Let’s find out!

Accessories in the box are quite minimal; you get only what you need to use the MR% studio monitors, as well as a quick start guide.

Edifier MR5 Studio Monitor Speakers 3

Included are a mains power cable, RCA to 3.5mm, 3.5mm to 3.5mm, and a cable to connect the left speaker to the right. Of course, there are other connections you can use if you have the need, but these will get you set up straight out of the box.

They come in both black and white, and both colors come with rose gold accenting. The accenting can be seen on the power/volume knob and both of the speakers as well. Edifier seems to enjoy the rose gold color as they feature it on many of their products.

The right speaker has the power/volume knob and also has a headphone jack and an auxiliary port.

Edifier MR5 power/volume know and audio inputs

Both the left and right studio monitors have air ports on both sides at the bottom of the speaker. While you can’t see it, there is a 5″ long-throw woofer in the bottom of each speaker. The woofer is not at all visible, even from the bottom, and is fully enclosed inside the speaker.

Edifier MR5 Studio Monitor Speakers 9

Both speakers also have another air port on the rear at the top. The left speaker, as pictured below, also has a single connection, so you can connect it to the right speaker.

Edifier MR5 Studio Monitor Speakers 10

The backside of the right speaker is where things start to get fun. For inputs, there are RCA, TRS and XLR. Just below the RCA inputs is the bluetooth button so you can use the MR5 Studio Monitor Speakers with your phone or other Bluetoothe devices. Just below that are the control knobs so you can get your highs and lows to your specific liking.

What is nice to see is that there is a guideline to use for the APP as well, letting you know some of the settings that are in use.

Connectivity, Setup, and Controls

Connectivity is one of the biggest strengths of the MR5. The inclusion of balanced XLR and TRS inputs gives it a more professional edge, especially for users connecting to an audio interface or mixer. At the same time, RCA, AUX, and Bluetooth make the speakers easy to use with PCs, laptops, phones, turntables with preamps, and other everyday devices.

Being able to adjust the highs and lows from the rear of the speaker, as well as access further options through the Edifier ConneX app, makes the MR5 more flexible than a basic plug-and-play speaker system.

Sound Quality

The MR5 delivers a clean sound that feels more mature than a typical desktop speaker setup. The dedicated mid-range driver helps vocals and instruments stand apart from the bass, while the tweeter provides enough detail without becoming overly harsh. Bass performance is strong for the size, reaching lower than many smaller desktop monitors, though it still doesn’t beat a dedicated subwoofer.

Gaming, Music, and more

For gaming, the MR5 offers a much cleaner and more spacious sound than most gaming-branded speakers. Positional cues such as footsteps and gun fights are easy to pick out, and dialogue remains clear even when music and effects are happening at the same time. It does not have the artificial boom of many gaming speakers, but that works in its favour if you prefer a more accurate presentation.

For creators, the MR5 makes a strong case as an affordable monitoring solution. The sound is more neutral than typical consumer speakers, and the balanced inputs make it easy to pair with an audio interface. While professional studios may want something more on the higher end of things, the MR5 should be more than capable for video editing, podcast work, streaming setups, and casual music production.

Conclusion

The Edifier MR5 is a great option for those who want something a bit more than your standard speakers, without the pricetag of high-end studio equipment. It offers a strong 3-way driver design with multiple ways of connectivity including Bluetooth with LDAC and can be controlled via the ConneX App. The larger size of the speakers i what allows it to offer such an immersive sound but at the same time, may make them a bit larger than what some users are prepared for.

For creators, musicians, gamers or anyone who wants a decent set of studio monitors without going to crazy, the MR5 can be picked up on Amazon UK for £279.99 at the time of review. The Edifier MR5 really need to be heard to be fully appreciated and with all of its customization options, you are sure to find the sound you are looking for.

Pros

  • Strong 110W RMS output
  • 3-way driver design
  • Balanced XLR and TRS inputs
  • Bluetooth 6.0 with LDAC support
  • Room compensation options
  • Edifier ConneX app support
  • Good fit for creators and everyday users

Cons

  • Rear controls may be awkward if placed close to a wall
  • Larger than basic desktop speakers
  • No dedicated subwoofer output

TerraMaster D1 SSD Enclosure Review: A Rugged DIY Portable SSD Enclosure

By: B Enos
27 May 2026 at 21:16

External SSDs are everywhere these days, and rightly so. They offer portable storage and, in some cases, blistering fast speeds. The TerraMaster D1 SSD Enclosure offers a rugged aerospace-grade aluminium alloy armor with an IP67 rating. It is also water and dust-proof and can be run over by some cars and be just fine thanks to being able to handle 1.2 tons of pressure. The D1 SSD also doubles as a passive heatsink, keeping your drive cool in most any condition.

Specifications

Closer Look

The box for the enclosure has a nice image of the enclosure itself when plugged into a laptop and boasting about its 10Gbps speeds. It also mentions that it is rugged, waterproof, and dustproof, which are going to be some of the biggest selling points it has to offer.

TERRAMASTER D1 SSD ENCLOSURE 1

Inside the box, it comes with a carry case, USB-A to USB-C cables, a screwdriver so you can install your NVMe drive with ease, and a user manual.

TerraMaster D1 SSD box contents

The D1 SSD feels more like a rugged storage tool than a basic USB enclosure. The aluminium body gives it a premium feel, while the finned design is not just for looks. It is there to help move heat away from the installed NVMe SSD during sustained transfers.

The aluminium alloy body is also very stylish and looks nice, even when just sitting on a desk. It is also not much bigger than the NVMe drive that it houses, so will easily fit in your bag or even a pocket if needed.

Installing your storage drive inside the enclosure is easy, and you could have it up and running in under a minute. There is one screw to open the enclosure and then one screen to secure the drive in place.

Once the drive is installed in the enclosure, you can put it back together. There are two small notches on one half that the other half of the enclosure will fit into and secure itself into place.

Testing

For testing, I used a 1TB Samsung 980 PRO NVMe drive. As you will see in the CrystalDiskMark image below, you will see that the enclosure allowed the drive to reach speeds just over the enclosure’s rated speeds.

The D1 officially offers speeds of 1020 MB/s read and 101 MB/s write, but as you will see below, I managed to hit 1060 MB/s read and 1034 MB/s write, giving me a little extra speed, which is always nice.

Pricing and Availability

The D1 SSD Enclosure can be purchased directly from TerraMaster for $29.99. It can also be purchased on Amazon UK for £39.99 at the time of writing this review.

Final Words

Overall, the TerraMaster D1 SSD is a well-built and practical NVMe enclosure that gives users the freedom to choose their own SSD. It’s not the fastest enclosure on the block, and it will not unlock the full potential of the fastest PCIe drives, but for everyday external storage, backups, large file transfers, and portable work, it offers a strong balance of speed, durability, and flexibility. The rugged aluminium body, passive cooling design, and IP67 protection help it stand out from cheaper generic enclosures, making it a solid choice for users who want external SSD performance without being locked into a pre-built drive.

The price point is quite attractive, and in the current climate this is great to see. Affordability is going to be a great selling point for the D1 SSD Enclosure, and should you happen to catch it on sale, it’s a no-brainer.

Pros

  • Strong aluminium construction
  • Supports user-installed M.2 NVMe SSDs
  • Up to 8TB capacity support
  • Passive cooling design
  • Silent operation
  • IP67-rated rugged protection
  • Good way to reuse an existing NVMe SSD

Cons

  • A high-end PCIe 4.0/5.0 SSD will be bottlenecked
  • SSD is not included
  • May be larger/heavier than basic slim enclosures
  • Users need to install and format their own drive
  • Not as fast as the D1 SSD Plus or D1 SSD Pro

IQUNIX EV63 Hall Effect Keyboard Review: Compact, Premium, and Built for Speed

By: B Enos
27 May 2026 at 13:11

The IQUNIX EV63 Hall Effect Keyboard is a compact 60% gaming keyboard designed for users who want fast inputs, adjustable actuation, and a premium chassis in a desk-friendly footprint. With Hall-Effect switches, 8K polling, web-based software, and a heavy aluminum build, the EV63 is clearly targeting competitive gamers who want more than a standard mechanical keyboard.

Hall-Effect keyboards are increasing in popularity due to their adjustable actuation and rapid-trigger options, so let’s see if the EV63 from IQUNIX is a worthwhile purchase for your hard-earned money!

Specifications

image 45

image 44

Closer Look

The box has a nice design to it. There is a render of the EV63 keyboard on the front with a space-like background going on.

The EV63 is a 60%, so the layout is a bit different than the norm. There is no right CTRL button, and the delete button is next to the up arrow on the bottom of the keyboard instead of towards the top. There is also no shift key on the right side, which isn’t an issue per se, just something to take note of.

IQUNIX EV63 Keyboard

We have the Violet model of the EV63, which comes with PBT double-shot keycaps. In all our testing over the years, we have never run into any issues with similar keycaps, so these should last for quite some time, even with extensive gaming.

Iqunix EV63 8

The EV63 keyboard utilizes geometric designs throughout to add an aesthetically pleasing appeal to itself. While most won’t sit there and stare at their keyboard all day, it will make you take a second glance should you see it sitting on a desk, as the design really does draw the eyes in.

Iqunix EV63 9
Iqunix EV63 11
Iqunix EV63 12

There is a single USB-C port that will be used to connect the EV62 to your PC or laptop. The EV63 can only be used in wired mode, so there are no wireless or Bluetooth options available. The reason for this is likely to make sure that the rest of the specifications live up to their desired functions.

Iqunix EV63 10

The EV62 boasts a 0.01mm Rapid Trigger function, 0.125ms Latency with 8K Polling and 16KHz scanning. The Gen-3 Rail-to-Rail Hall Sensor expands voltage tolerance by 400%, which greatly enhances the signal resolution and keystroke stability.

Iqunix EV63 14

The RGB adds a subtle glow under the keycaps of the EV63. The keycaps easily pull off, but it is best to use the included keycap puller to do so, as while they are quite strong, they can break or bend slightly if pulled wrong.

Iqunix EV63 16

The switches themselves can also be taken out using the included switch puller. It is quite easy, but again, best to do it properly and make sure you pull straight upwards when taking them out. To reinsert them, you just pop them back into place and push down firmly.

Iqunix EV63 21
Iqunix EV63 17

IQUNIX has gone with a custom-made in-house Magnetic X Pro Switch. It is said to have increased the bottom-out magnetic flux by 30%, allowing the switch to offer a stronger signal, precision, and consistency over other magnetic switches.

The Magnetic X Pro switches feel very smooth, as expected from a Hall Effect board. There is no traditional mechanical contact point, so the typing experience is more linear and consistent. For gaming, this works very well, but for typing, some users such as myself may still prefer the more defined feel of a traditional mechanical switch. You also have to factor in the layout of the EV63 when it comes to conventional uses; if you are used to typing on a standard keyboard, it will take some time to get used to the EV63.

Software

The software is fairly easy to use and will allow users to set the EV63 to their desired settings. The software side is where the EV63 separates itself from standard mechanical keyboards. Being able to adjust actuation, remap keys, and use gaming-focused features such as SOCD and DKS gives the board a level of flexibility that competitive players will appreciate.

Testing and Usage

FeatureClaimed spec
Polling rate8000Hz
Scanning rate16000Hz
Latency0.125ms
Rapid Trigger sensitivity0.01mm
Adjustable actuation0.01–3.1mm / also listed elsewhere as 0.01–3.5mm
Accuracy0.01mm

When it comes to gaming, the EV63 is amazing, and the responsiveness is second to none. One of the biggest advantages it offers is that users can customize their actuation to their desired settings, offering a better overall experience, even for competitive gamers.

For a Hall Effect gaming keyboard, the EV63 has a surprisingly refined sound profile. The internal foam and solid chassis help prevent the board from sounding thin or hollow, while the larger keys feel well-controlled out of the box.

Final Words

The EV63 is priced in premium Hall Effect territory, but it also feels more premium than many gaming-first boards thanks to its aluminum/carbon-style build, compact design, and strong feature set. The main question is whether you value the design and materials as much as the performance. It is currently available for $169.00 USD directly from IQUNIX.

It is a premium keyboard that comes with a premium price tag. However, if you are a serious gamer that is in the market for something compact, that offers amazing performance and plenty of customization, this could well be worth a look. The Hall Effect switches, 8K polling rate, and rapid trigger sensitivity are going to give gamers, especially FPS gamers, the upper hand over their soon-to-be fallen enemies.

While the EV63 Hall Effect Keyboard may not be for everyone, those who are in need of something like this will appreciate all it has to offer. It comes with a 1-year warranty, which does feel a bit short, especially given the craftsmanship of the keyboard. In the future, it would be nice to see a bit longer warranty when asking such a price for what seems to be a great keyboard.

Pros

  • Excellent premium build quality
  • Compact 60% layout saves desk space
  • Hall Effect switches with adjustable actuation
  • 8K polling and low claimed latency
  • Useful FPS features such as SOCD, RS, DKS, and Mod Tap
  • Web-based software
  • Hot-swappable support
  • Strong internal sound-dampening structure
  • Attractive colour and material options

Cons

  • 60% layout will not suit everyone
  • Wired-only
  • Premium price
  • Very sensitive actuation settings may cause accidental presses
  • Software features may be overwhelming for beginners
  • No dedicated function row keys

Quntis Monitor Light Bar Glow Review

By: B Enos
26 May 2026 at 17:41

Monitor light bars are gaining popularity as they offer a way to light up your desk without costing you any desk space. They sit on top of your monitor, aiming the light down at your desk. This can be a great way to add a bit of subtle lighting to help with eye strain. It can also make seeing your keyboard easier if you don’t have backlit keys. Best of all, a lot of monitor light bars can allow you to adjust the brightness and change the temperature. This is generally done with an easy-to-use remote.

Inside the box, there is the light bar and stand, along with the USB cable to power the light bar, a wireless remote, and included AA batteries for the remote. The included USB cable is a USB-A to USB-C cable. The USB-C end will plug into the light bar, while the USB-A end will plug into your PC in most cases to power the light bar.

The stand is quite easy to use; I mean, it literally just sits on top of your monitor. There is a small notch that will grab your monitor, then the big weighted area goes behind it, and the light bar simply just clips in. It really is that easy to set up that you can get using it within seconds.

The remote is circular and works very well while remaining nice and simple. One thing you will notice is the fact it has two power buttons. The bigger, more central power button is for the main light, while the one below it is for the backlighting. To the left of the main power button is the button to change the brightness. Simply hit this, then click the plus or minus symbols above to change the brightness to your liking. You can also do the same with the temperature button, which is on the right of the main power button, to switch between warm and cold lighting.

Final Words

I have been using a monitor light bar for almost 2-years now. So when Quntis asked me if I was interested in reviewing their Monitor Light Bar Glow, I was more than ready. The added backlighting is something my original light bar doesn’t have, so this was a more than welcome upgrade and something I will put to use once summer is over and it starts to get dark earlier.

Setting it up is as simple as putting the mount on your monitor, clipping the light bar in, and plugging in the USB cable; that’s it. There is no software or other installation required; it is plug-and-play thanks to the easy-to-use remote. From opening the package to making use of it, it should take most people only a minute or two.

Coming in at $55.99 directly from Quntis or £43.99 on Amazon UK, the light bar glow offers good value for the money. While it may seem silly, the included batteries so you can use it right out of the box are a nice touch and speak to the fact that Quntis is trying to provide the best user experience it can.

Monitor light bars can be used to help reduce eye strain, add subtle ambient lighting, and even light up your desk so you can see your keyboard, notepad or even make sure you don’t spill your drink. All in all, they are very useful, and when they can be found at an affordable price such as this one, it really is a no-brainer!

Pros

  • Saves desk space compared with a traditional lamp
  • Adjustable 3000K–6500K colour temperature
  • Front light and rear backlight
  • Desktop dial/controller is convenient
  • Clean look for modern PC setups
  • Useful for work, gaming, and evening use

Cons

  • May not suit all monitor shapes
  • Official listing says flat monitors only
  • USB cable management may matter depending on your setup
  • Backlight may be more ambience than functional lighting

TRENDnet has gone with form and function over aesthetics for both the packaging and the TK-240DP. While the outside of the box is plain in looks, it has an image of the unit itself and some of the more sought-after specifications listed.

One thing we are seeing more of these days is multi-region power cables coming with electronic products. TRENDnet has used an American-style plug but has added adaptors for other regions such as EU and UK.

1000023316

The TK-240DP KVM Switch is a rather basic-looking unit. It is all black, and on the front there are buttons to switch between PCs 1 and 2 with ease.

On the back of the unit is where things get fun, but TRENDnet has your back and has made it as easy as possible. You will see each area clearly labelled. For the PC connections, PC 1 and PC 2 each have connections for 2x DisplayPort, USB, and audio jacks. You will connect these to said PCs as labelled.

The console section is going to be where you plug in the monitors, peripherals, and USB hub, should you choose to use one. You will also see the DC 9V power input on the console side.

One thing that users will find annoying is the lack of included cables. Other than the power cable, there are no other cables included with the TK-240DP KWM. This means users will need to buy extra DisplayPort, USB, and audio cables to make use of the KVM Switch. I am assuming they believe most users will have spare cables already and are trying to save them money, but I still find it a bit of an odd decision as the unit cannot be used without these extra cables.

Setup Experience

Setting up the TK-240DP is rather easy, even if it seems like it may be complicated at first. I always choose to plug in the power last and make sure everything else is connected before I do so. While there is no CD or installation needed, you will need a fair share of cables to get everything connected. If using this with a dual-monitor setup on two PCs, you will need:

  • 3x DisplayPort Cables (single monitor)
  • 6x DisplayPort Cables(dual monitor)
  • 3x USB Cables
  • 3x Pairs of Audio Cables (speakers and microphone)
  • Keyboard
  • Mouse
  • Speakers
  • Microphone
  • Include DC 9V Power adapter (Included)

This is quite the list of cables if you want to make full use of everything the TRENDnet TK-240DP has to offer.

Performance and User Experience

While setup can take some time, the biggest thing to take into account is that you have all the cables you will need before getting started. From there, you will also want to make sure your cables are of decent quality. One of the issues with some KVM switches is that they don’t like cheaper cables and can cause flickering and other issues, especially over video. The TK-240DP is said to support monitors with 4K and 60Hz and 1140p and 144Hz, so it can essentially be used by creators and gamers and not just for standard office users.

During my time using it, most everything went smoothly. I did notice sometimes Windows 11 would lag a tiny bit if I started switching PCs too many times, but I do think this is to be expected. Other than that, I had no issue playing games, watching Netflix, or switching to and from my test PC while writing reviews.

While this isn’t made for high-end gaming, casual gaming will be more than fine. It is also worth mentioning that the USB 2.0 interface, while fine for peripherals and the like, really isn’t designed for high-speed external storage, so you may want to figure out another option if need be.

Final Words

The TRENDnet TK-240DP is a practical and focused KVM switch for users who need to control two DisplayPort-based systems from a single dual-monitor workstation. Its support for 4K at 60Hz and 1440p at 144Hz makes it more capable than many basic office KVMs, while the inclusion of audio switching, hotkeys, and a USB 2.0 hub adds useful everyday flexibility.

It is not perfect, mainly because the required cable kit is sold separately and the USB hub is limited to USB 2.0, but for the right setup, this could be a very useful desk-cleaning upgrade. For users running a work PC and gaming PC, or reviewers and professionals who regularly move between systems, the TK-240DP offers a tidy and convenient way to reduce clutter without giving up a proper dual-monitor layout.

Pros

  • Supports two PCs and dual DisplayPort monitors
  • Up to 4K 60Hz support
  • Up to 1440p 144Hz support
  • Keyboard hotkeys and front-panel switching
  • 3.5mm speaker and microphone switching
  • Built-in 2-port USB 2.0 hub
  • Metal enclosure
  • No driver/CD installation required

Cons

  • Required cable kit is sold separately
  • USB hub is only USB 2.0
  • Not ideal for 4K high-refresh gaming setups

Meet The SUPERSEGA V3 – Nostalgia, AMOLED And 8K Glory At Its Best

By: B Enos
12 May 2026 at 11:15

What do you get when you combine a 30+ year old console and some of the newest PC hardware currently available? You get the SUPERSEGA V3, which is equal parts nostalgia and high-end tech all cased in a single unit.

One of the biggest things we are seeing is that if you have compatible NVIDIA hardware, you can scale the game to almost any resolution your GPU supports, including 8K. Just imagine being able to play your favourite childhood games on a 50+ inch screen at an 8K resolution. If you had told me when I was 10, this would be possible. I would have never believed it, but here we are.

If this isn’t impressive enough for you so far, it also comes with a 9″ curved 4:3, 2480 x 1860 AMOLED display. This display uses an HDMI input and can be used for playing games, or for most anything you would use a normal monitor for.

Things can only get better from here. The SUPERSEGA v3 not only allows you to read SEGA cartridges, but it also doubles as a writer, giving you the option to publish your own games on cartridges as well.

image 7

While there is no official release date, it is said to be released in 2026. This will likely be a limited release, as all of the first units will be made by hand. There is also no word on whether they will offer the SUPERSEGA as a pre-built system with PC components already installed. Odds are it will come as a barebones system, where you will need to install your own components, which is more likely. Either way, this is going to be an amazing trip down memory lane, allowing you to enjoy some of your all-time favourite SEGA games!

Make sure to follow us to stay up to date with more news and info on the SUPERSEGA v3 as it becomes available.

Why Player Feedback is Now Integral to the Success of Online Casino Sites

By: B Enos
11 May 2026 at 16:38

The silent operator is a failing operator. For years, the online gambling industry functioned behind a curtain, with platforms pushing out products and waiting to see which ones stuck, but the power dynamic has shifted entirely in 2026. Now, the most successful online casino sites are not necessarily those with the largest marketing budgets, but those that have turned their platforms into a two-way conversation.

The modern player is not just looking for a place to bet; they are looking for a service that evolves based on their own frustrations and successes. This shift toward a feedback-heavy model is a response to a market where the cost of acquiring a new user is at an all-time high, making retention the only sustainable path to profit.

The Death of the One-Way Product Launch

In the past, a casino might launch a new suite of games and simply hope for the best, but now we see a much more iterative approach where beta testing and community forums are part of the standard rollout. We are part of a community of players that expects to be heard, and when a site ignores a recurring complaint about a clunky interface or a slow withdrawal process, they are effectively handing their customers over to the competition.

This transparency has become a major differentiator. When we see an operator publicly acknowledge a bug or explain why a specific game was removed based on player stats, it builds a level of trust that a flashy banner ad simply cannot buy. According to a Salesforce report, nearly 90% of buyers say the experience a company provides matters as much as its products or services – and in the iGaming world, that experience is built directly on the back of user input.

Trust as a Collaborative Effort

Finding a reliable place to play has become a more sophisticated process for all of us because we no longer rely on the word of the platform itself; instead, we look to the collective experience of the community to verify a site’s claims. This is particularly true for technically demanding games like craps, where the fairness of the physics and the speed of the software are paramount to the enjoyment of the session.

Because the stakes are high, we have seen a surge in the importance of independent evaluation. A thorough Businessabc review can often be the deciding factor for a player on the fence, as it synthesizes professional analysis with the real-world experiences of the player base to ensure a site actually delivers on its promises. This collaborative approach to trust means that operators are under constant pressure to maintain high standards, knowing that a single week of poor service will be documented and shared across the network almost instantly.

From Data Points to Real-World Changes

The most successful sites in 2026 are using player feedback to drive their technical roadmaps in real time. We are seeing platforms that allow users to vote on upcoming features or report issues directly through integrated chat tools that connect to live product teams.

  • UI/UX Refinement: Adjusting button placements and navigation based on heatmaps and user heat.
  • Game Diversity: Prioritizing developers that the community has specifically requested.
  • Support Evolution: Moving away from scripted responses to more personalized, human interaction.

We are now participants in a platform’s testing and development phase, and that sense of ownership is what ultimately drives long-term loyalty in an increasingly crowded market, which means the human element of player feedback remains the most important tool for any operator. While AI can track our clicks and our betting patterns, it cannot replicate the nuance of a player explaining why a specific feature felt unrewarding or confusing.

The sites that thrive in the coming years will be those that continue to listen. We have reached a point where the “smart” way to run a casino is to stop guessing what players want and simply ask them. In doing so, operators aren’t just improving their games – they are building a sustainable foundation of trust that can withstand the rapid changes of the 2026 tech landscape.

Compuwood: The Innovative Wood Bending Technology Changing Modern PC Case Design

By: B Enos
17 April 2026 at 09:33

Wood has always been one of the most versatile and beautiful materials in the world. But shaping it and bending it into complex curves has traditionally been a slow, labour-intensive, and limiting process.

That’s where Compuwood comes in.

Compuwood is working on bringing full wooden PC cases to the masses. While this is not a new concept per se, we have never really seen many manufacturers try to take on fully wooden PC cases. As for materials of production, they will be using different types of wood, from pine (on the standard), to oak, mahogany, and walnut on the 33 and 333 models.

There are currently 3 models in the Series 3 lineup, and they are the 3, 33, and 333. The naming is nothing fancy, and I wouldn’t be surprised if it changes in the future, but for now, it lets us differentiate between the different case models.

They are still very much in the prototype stage, but things are looking promising. As you can see from the images below, they are incorporating different ways to make sure that there is plenty of airflow in the cases.

Display Screen

The 333 case will come with a curved 2K OLED touch display, offering further customization for your PC. Currently, we do not know the remaining specs, but if done properly, this will be an exciting upgrade to an already unique PC case. Screens are all the current rage, so this addition is only going to make the case even more eye-catching when seen in person.

Pre-Prototype

This is a short look that offers a look at what we can expect from the upcoming Compuwood products.

Temperature Test

While this isn’t a proper test, it does give a little insight into the temperatures of the components in the case. Over time, we will follow up with Compuwood and continue to monitor their progress, and we will ask for more standardized testing across its range of cases.

The Big Questions

If you’ve made it to this point, you are likely wondering how this wood is going to hold up over time. Will it start to decay from prolonged use? Will it swell up or warp in any way from being heated and cooled multiple times? At this point, it is hard to say, but it will be interesting to see how it all works out. While we hope for the best, there may be a reason why no one has ever really made a fully wooden PC case.

For now, we have more questions than answers, but we will definitely be following Compuwood closely to see how things unfold. Make sure to check back with us to stay updated.

Let us know what you think. Would you buy or use a full wooden PC case for your PC?

Designed for Long Recording

Built to keep up with extended journeys, the SJ30 is equipped with a 2000mAh internal battery and supports an optional power handle for added endurance. Together, they deliver up to seven hours of continuous recording at 4K, making the camera ideal for long rides, travel days, and uninterrupted capture.

Clear Audio and Simple Operation

For improved sound quality, the SJ30 includes a detachable wind guard and supports the SJCAM M4 wireless microphone resulting in clearer voice recordings in outdoor or high-motion environments.

A magnetic quick-release mounting system further enhances usability, enabling fast attachment and removal irrespective of the activity.

A Camera Built for Real Life

The SJ30 is built around a simple idea: most users don’t need complex camera systems—they need a reliable, high-quality camera that fits seamlessly into everyday life. Whether capturing a weekend ride, a family trip, or a personal vlog, the SJ30 is designed to make recording those moments effortless.

Built to handle a wide range of environments, the SJ30 features an IPX8 waterproof rating and is waterproof up to 16 ft (5 m) right out of the box, making it ready for rain, splashes, and shallow water shooting. Designed for durability in extreme conditions, the camera operates reliably across a temperature range of -20°C to 60°C

With its combination of high-resolution imaging, enhanced low-light performance, extended battery life, and user-friendly design, the SJ30 is designed to redefine the action camera category—not just as a tool for extreme sports, but as a versatile camera for capturing everyday life.

Portable Monitors: The Secret Weapon for Business Consultants

By: B Enos
3 April 2026 at 14:12

As a business consultant, you wear many hats. Your days are spent analyzing data and developing strategies but there is a consistent need for efficient collaboration and communication. Because the way you present your findings impacts project success. Plus, wrestling with cables and tiny laptop screens during important meetings adds to the struggle.

At this point, the portable monitor surfaces as a transformative tool. If you want to impress your clients, invest in the Mobile Pixels portable monitor because it’s not just an extra screen, it also encourages better collaboration, professionalism and clearer communication. Furthermore, this blog will share how these monitors are your secret weapon.

image 3

It Unlocks Efficient Analysis and Content Creation

You Get Expanded Real Estate – The limited screen space often challenges data analysis. It forces you to toggle between complex research reports, spreadsheets and your personal analysis, increasing frustration. However, a portable monitor expands your real estate to run detailed projections on one screen while referring to market trends on the second display.

Doing so minimizes errors, allows viewing information and speeds synthesis, resulting in more insightful recommendations.

Creation Delivery is Streamlined – We know that creating compelling reports and presentations is the basic part of your job. This provides you with another reason to buy a portable monitor, as it streamlines your creation delivery.

You can use your main screen to prepare slides or write and dedicate the extra display to display style guides, reference materials or support documents. The result? Reduced distractions, enhanced productivity and the ability to produce high-quality work in less time.

Elevates Client Interactions with Visual Impact

Control Meetings and Create Presentations

Are you tired of sharing a single laptop screen with your client to update them? Get a portable monitor as it offers a space to create presentations. Position your main laptop to view meeting notes, backup data or emails, while the other screen can be used to show the presentation to the client. In this way, nothing gets disturbed, and you maintain direct eye contact more effectively.

There Is Real-Time Data Visualization for Dynamic Conversations

Imagine presenting a financial model and you are fumbling through worksheets. To avoid that, share the live model on the portable monitor and make the changes, this capability demonstrates transparency and expertise. It also leaves a solid impression on the client that you are serious about the business and follow a professional approach.

Redefines Collaborative Dynamics

When organizing strategy or brainstorming meetings, your goal is shared understanding and creative problem solving, which a portable monitor does. The advancement lets you adjust it for all stakeholders to view process maps, strategic frameworks or competitive analysis.

The portable monitor becomes a focal point, allowing participants to connect visually and contribute ideas, making sure that everyone is on the same track.

Another beauty of this monitor lies in its portability. The technology doesn’t chain you to the presentation spot, but lets you set up a collaborative space in a client’s breakroom, a shared workspace or even a coffee shop. In short the agility and readiness build confidence and indicate an effective service. So who would say no to such a high-functioning office?

Lay Your Hands On This Monitor

The portable monitor is a complete package because it expands your workspace, keeps you mentally relaxed, allows you to concentrate on analysis and builds client trust. In your profession, where perception is critical, this simple tool boosts your business consultant’s effectiveness, leaving your competitors jealous. Therefore, don’t waste time and lay your hands on the monitor and see how your business progresses.
