Google is expanding Gemini’s personalized AI image generation to eligible free users in the U.S., allowing the chatbot to create images based on your interests and data from connected Google apps.

ChatGPT Images 2.0, the newest image-generation model from OpenAI, shows just how much AI capabilities have evolved over the last few years.

That means its AI images can be created using Gemini's understanding of your likes and interests, without those having to be explicitly noted in the prompt.

The company's new product, called Gamma Imagine, will let users employ text prompts to create brand-specific assets like interactive charts and visualizations, marketing collateral, social graphics, and infographics.

Google is making Nano Banana 2 a default model in Gemini app and in AI mode.
