Keychron has officially expanded its K Ultra keyboard lineup with the new Keychron K1 Ultra TKL. The latest keyboard is made for users who want a compact design without giving up important keys. It also brings fast wireless performance, long battery life, and plenty of customization options for both work and gaming.

The K1 Ultra keeps the same premium look as the larger K5 Ultra. It comes with a slim low profile design, real rosewood side panels, and aluminum rails along the front and back for added durability. The keyboard uses a tenkeyless layout, making it smaller and easier to fit on most desks. It also includes a programmable control knob placed where the F13 key would normally be, with volume control set as the default function.

One of the biggest highlights is its wireless performance. Powered by ZMK firmware, the K1 Ultra supports an 8,000 Hz polling rate over its 2.4 GHz wireless connection. Keychron also claims the built in 2,600 mAh battery can last up to 490 hours with the backlight turned off, giving users plenty of time between charges.

The keyboard is available with three different Keychron Milk POM switch options. Buyers can choose Red switches for a smooth linear feel, Brown switches for light tactile feedback, or Banana switches for a stronger tactile typing experience. Inside the keyboard, four layers of sound dampening material help reduce typing noise and create a softer typing sound.

Like many recent Keychron keyboards, the K1 Ultra is fully customizable through the Keychron Launcher software. Users can remap every key, create custom macros, and adjust RGB lighting effects. The north facing RGB LEDs also make it easier to install compatible shine through keycaps.

The Keychron K1 Ultra TKL supports both Bluetooth and 2.4 GHz wireless connectivity, allowing users to switch between multiple devices with ease. Keychron has priced the new keyboard at $109.99, and it is now available through the company’s online store.
