Corsair Nightsword v2 WIRELESS SD, a new gaming mouse that brings Elgato Stream Deck controls directly to your hand. The mouse is now available to buy and is designed for gamers, streamers, and PC users who want more controls without adding another device to their desk.

The main feature is a dedicated Stream Deck Launch Button. Pressing it opens a customizable Virtual Stream Deck overlay on the screen. Users can then access shortcuts and controls for games, apps, and other tasks without moving their hand away from the mouse.

Through Elgato’s Stream Deck software, the buttons can be set up for different uses. Players can manage game items, trigger actions, change OBS scenes, mute Discord, and perform other tasks with quick button presses.

The mouse comes with eight programmable buttons, which can be customized through the Stream Deck app. Users can also access the Elgato Marketplace to download plugins and ready-made profiles for supported games and applications.

Corsair has already added profiles for games such as Cyberpunk 2077, Pragmata, Resident Evil Requiem, ARC Raiders, Diablo IV, and Genshin Impact. More profiles are expected to arrive later, while users can also create and share their own setups.

The Corsair Nightsword V2 WIRELESS SD is not only focused on extra controls. It is also built for fast gaming performance. The mouse supports up to 8000 Hz polling in both wired and wireless modes, which can provide much faster updates than the usual 1000 Hz polling rate.

It uses Corsair’s MARKSMAN S sensor with tracking up to 33,000 DPI, 750 IPS speed, 50G acceleration, and up to 99.7% resolution accuracy. The mouse also uses optical switches rated for up to 100 million clicks, helping provide fast actuation and long-term durability.

For wireless use, Corsair includes an adapter that can be placed closer to the mouse. This is designed to help maintain a stronger and more stable connection by reducing the distance between the mouse and receiver.

Battery life is another strong point. The Corsair Nightsword V2 WIRELESS SD can run for up to 170 hours over 2.4 GHz wireless with RGB lighting turned off and polling set to 1000 Hz. Bluetooth mode offers up to 164 hours under similar conditions. Users can also connect the mouse through USB-C when needed.

Corsair has given the mouse a right-handed ergonomic design with curved sides and a thumb rest. The shape is aimed at providing a comfortable grip during long gaming or work sessions.

Users who prefer not to install extra software can also customize the mouse through Corsair Web Hub. The browser-based tool supports button assignments, macros, DPI settings, and Motion Sync adjustments.

The Corsair Nightsword v2 WIRELESS SD is now available through the Corsair webstore and authorized retailers worldwide. It comes with a two-year warranty and Corsair’s customer and technical support.
