AOC details Agon Pro AGP277QKP 1440p monitor with circular polarisation

25 May 2026 at 08:00

AOC has introduced the Agon Pro AGP277QKP, a new 27-inch QHD (2560Γ—1440) gaming monitor launched with circular polarisation technology for the Chinese market. Built around a Fast IPS panel, the display delivers a 425Hz refresh rate over a full-bandwidth DisplayPort 2.1 input or dual HDMI 2.1 connections.

The monitor (via DisplaySpecifications) features a 2000:1 static contrast ratio, 10.7 billion colour output, and factory calibration with a Ξ”E < 2. Colour gamut coverage spans 100% of sRGB and 95% DCI-P3. Certified to the VESA DisplayHDR 400 standard, the display achieves a peak brightness of 450 nits in HDR mode. For motion performance, the hardware is rated for a 0.3ms MPRT and 1ms GTG response time, supported by Motion Blur Reduction (MBR), MBR Sync, and Nvidia G-Sync Compatible validation.

The display integrates circular polarisation technology to simulate natural light, alongside hardware-level low-blue-light protection and flicker-free backlighting. Productivity features include Picture-in-Picture (PIP) and Picture-by-Picture (PBP) modes, plus an integrated USB hub consisting of three USB 3.2 Gen1 ports and a fast-charging upstream port. Software customisation is managed through the AOC G-Menu suite, which provides access to visibility adjustments such as Dark Boost and Shadow Control.

The monitor's design includes narrow bezels, a multi-edge base, and a built-in retractable headphone hook. The bundled stand supports 150mm height adjustment, along with tilt, swivel, and full pivot rotation. Ambient lighting is provided by the integrated Light FX system, which offers 14 preset effects and over 10 million colour combinations. The manufacturer has not confirmed pricing and international availability.

KitGuru says: Monitors with circular polarisation are becoming increasingly more popular, and it may even soon become standard. In Europe/UK, options with this tech are still limited, but if what's happening in China replicates in other regions, it shouldn't take long to see a flood of these displays on the shelves.

New AOC AGON Pro AGP277QKDC with 540/720Hz dual-mode scheduled for June

21 April 2026 at 12:00

AOC has introduced the AGON Pro AGP277QKDC, a 27-inch gaming monitor featuring a 4th Gen WOLED panel. The display offers native 1440p resolution at 540Hz, with a dual-mode feature that can reach 720Hz at 720p.

According to TFTCentral, the AGP277QKDC uses LG Display's latest Primary RGB Tandem WOLED technology. In this case, the panel features a 2560Γ—1440 resolution, 0.03ms G2G response time, and a 1.5million:1 contrast ratio. In SDR mode, the panel reaches 335 nits, while HDR performance is certified under VESA DisplayHDR TrueBlack 500, with a peak brightness of 1500 nits at 1.5% APL.

The monitor supports 10-bit colour depth and covers 99.5% of the DCI-P3 colour space. For variable refresh rate performance, the unit is certified as NVIDIA G-Sync Compatible and supports adaptive-sync. User features include an anti-glare coating, flicker-free technology, and a stand with height, tilt, swivel, and pivot adjustments. I/O options include one DisplayPort 2.1 (UHBR20), two HDMI 2.1 ports, and two USB-A data ports. A USB Type-C port is also included, supporting DP Alt mode, data, and 65W power delivery. The display also integrates a KVM switch, PiP/PbP support, a headphone jack, and dual 5W speakers.

AOC provides a 3-year warranty that covers OLED burn-in. While an official product page is not yet available, the monitor is expected to retail for €849 upon its launch in June 2026.

AOC’s new Agon Pro AG326UZD2 boasts 240Hz Penta Tandem QD-OLED panel

2 April 2026 at 16:00

The latest Agon Pro gaming monitor from AOC looks to be very impressive. It is the first of their monitors to sport a 4th Generation QD-OLED Penta Tandem panel, a newer type of panel that aims to push OLED brightness and longevity to new heights.Β

According to Displayspecifications, the display features native 4K UHD resolution, a 240Hz refresh rate, a 0.03ms GtG response time, and an Nvidia G-Sync Compatible certification, ensuring motion remains fluid and tear-free. However, what sets the AG326UZD2 apart from previous iterations is its focus on panel durability and environmental adaptability. The new Penta Tandem architecture is paired with EL Gen 3 materials and DarkShield 3.0, AOC's latest anti-reflection coating. DarkShield 3.0 (likely Samsung's QuantumBlack film) is specifically engineered to preserve the β€œTrue Black” performance of QD-OLED even in well-lit rooms, a common issue for early QD-OLED adopters.

The monitor features a native 10-bit colour depth, covering 99% of the DCI-P3 gamut with factory-calibrated accuracy, achieving a Delta E < 1. On the HDR front, the display carries the VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification. While typical SDR brightness sits at a robust 300 nits, the panel can reach a peak HDR brightness of 1000 nits at a 3% APL (Average Picture Level).

The AG326UZD2 also features a comprehensive suite of modern ports, including DisplayPort 2.1 and HDMI 2.1. The inclusion of USB-C with 65W Power Delivery and DisplayPort Alt Mode makes it a viable single-cable solution for high-end laptops.

KitGuru says: If you're in the market for a high-end OLED/QD-OLED gaming monitor, the new AOC Agon Pro AG326UZD2 might be worth a look.Β
