Blizzard has shared a new roadmap for World of Warcraft: Midnight, outlining the final updates for the expansion and giving us a clearer idea of when to expect the reveal of The Last Titan, the concluding chapter of the Worldsoul Saga.

The next phase begins with Echoes of the Worldcore, an update focused on new story quests and seasonal events. That will be followed by Midnight: Eclipse in the winter, a major patch that introduces a new zone called The Mantle Vault, a new dungeon, a new lair, fresh delves and a new raid. The update also brings a new legendary caster weapon, additional paladin options for Forsaken, Night Elf and Troll characters, and further improvements to housing.

Midnight: Eclipse will lead directly into Season 3, which continues the storyline and sets the stage for the next expansion.

In 2027, Blizzard will move into the final act of the Worldsoul Saga. The Last Titan will be revealed in the spring, marking the third and final expansion in the trilogy that began with The War Within back in 2024. Based on Blizzard’s established cadence, a spring reveal would typically point to an early 2028 release window, keeping the two‑year cycle intact.

Blizzard has announced World of Warcraft: Forever, a new project developed by the Classic team that revisits the original level‑60 era of WoW. Unlike WoW Classic, which preserves the vanilla experience as it was, Forever introduces new zones, quests and features set within that first year of the game.

World of Warcraft: Forever brings new content to the original timeline. Players will explore Dalaran, alongside other new zones to be confirmed later on. Zones already present in vanilla WoW have been reworked to support new story content as well. A new playable race, the Skyborne Elves, will also join the game in WoW: Forever.

Alongside the new race and zones, Forever includes two raids, nine dungeons and more than 1000 quests, reinforcing the idea that this is Vanilla WoW Extended, rather than just a snapshot of the game as it was.

World of Warcraft: Forever arrives on the 4th of November. BlizzCon attendees can try it early, and a public beta will roll out next week for those unable to be there this weekend.
