Fabletown’s getting a fresh coat of paint, and we finally know when. The Wolf Among Us Remastered arrives October 29, 2026, on PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, plus PS5, Xbox, and Switch.

Telltale confirmed the date with a new gameplay trailer during Gamescom 2026 week, following the game’s reveal at Summer Games Fest earlier this year. If you’ve never played it, you’re Bigby Wolf, sheriff of a hidden fairy-tale community, trying to solve a murder while keeping the peace between characters who’d rather claw each other’s throats out.

What’s actually new in The Wolf Among Us Remaster

This isn’t just an upscale job. Telltale is promising sharper visuals, better performance, an updated interface, and accessibility improvements, alongside upgraded animation, audio, resolution, and framerate. There’s also a new Noir Mode for anyone who wants their fairy-tale murder mystery looking even moodier than it already does.

Telltale is also throwing in over an hour of bonus content: behind-the-scenes videos, cast interviews, image galleries, and deleted scenes. For a game that’s over a decade old, that’s a decent reason to actually stick around after the credits roll rather than just replaying the murder investigation on autopilot.

October 29 is close enough now that it’s basically a formality. The Big Bad Wolf is back on the beat.
