Arctic unveils new TP-4 thermal pads with reduced thermal resistance

20 May 2026 at 16:30

Arctic has announced the release of its new TP-4 high-performance thermal pad line, designed for components such as RAM, chipsets, ICs, graphics cards, laptops, and gaming consoles. According to the manufacturer, the product features an optimised material composition that reduces thermal resistance and improves heat dissipation compared to the previous TP-3 generation.

The TP-4 line is constructed from electrically insulating, non-adhesive materials to prevent electrical shorts and assist installation. The pads combine compressibility with thermal conductivity, allowing the material to adapt to uneven surfaces and variations in component height.

Arctic specifies that the pads can be cut to custom sizes and are available in thicknesses of 0.5mm, 1.0mm, and 1.5mm, with the ability to stack multiple sheets to a maximum thickness of 2.0mm.

The product lineup is divided into two distinct sizes, with temporary launch prices tracking below their standard retail values. The 100x100mm pads are available in 0.5mm thickness for โ‚ฌ8.09 (MSRP: โ‚ฌ13.49), 1.0mm thickness for โ‚ฌ10.19 (MSRP: โ‚ฌ16.99), and 1.5mm thickness for โ‚ฌ12.29 (MSRP: โ‚ฌ20.49). As for the 120x20mm pads (4 packs), they are available in 0.5mm thickness for โ‚ฌ9.29 (MSRP: โ‚ฌ15.49), 1.0mm thickness for โ‚ฌ11.09 (MSRP: โ‚ฌ18.49), and 1.5mm thickness for โ‚ฌ13.49 (MSRP: โ‚ฌ22.49).
