10 June 2026 at 12:00

Nintendo’s most recent General Direct saw the Switch 2 console maker announce a number of upcoming first-party titles including the likes of Switch Sports Resort and the rumoured Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake. Alongside this, the showcase also featured a plethora of 3rd party games which are coming over; including Stellar Blade; Devil May Cry 5; Lies of P and a bunch more.

From recent releases to generations-old titles, the latest Nintendo Direct saw a variety of publishers announce Switch ports of their games.

While there were of course a number of new surprises, a solid portion of the showcase was dedicated to said ports – the list of which includes:

  • Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration (Available Now)
  • Devil May Cry 5: Devil Hunter Edition (23rd of June)
  • Lies of P: Complete Edition (6th of August)
  • Kingdom Hearts I-III (8th of October)
  • Metaphor: ReFantazio (12th of November)
  • Stellar Blade (2026)

Switch 2 Stellar Blade

Compared to the Switch 1, it does seem as though we are getting ports of more recent games at a faster rate. Whether these titles will perform well on the Switch 2 however, we will have to wait and see.

Lies of P sequel has officially entered “full-scale dev phase”

12 May 2026 at 09:30

Amongst the many different Souls-likes which have been released over the years, one of the biggest standouts is Lies of P: A bloodborne-esque action title which many deem to be the best non-FromSoftware developed title in the genre. In the wake of its success, the team at Neowiz confirmed that a sequel had been greenlit – with the project now said to be in full production.

Making the announcement as part of the company’s latest fiscal earnings report, Lies of P developer Neowiz confirmed the current status of their previously-announced sequel, revealing that it is in “full-scale dev phase” with a vertical slice being in the works right now.

Lies of P Neowiz

While an exciting prospect, the studio is facing some controversy at the moment due to recently surfaced job listings which suggest that Neowiz/Round8 are hiring an AI Creator focused on character and background concept art.

Lies of P was a massive success, and one which was clearly made with a great deal of heart and artistry. It will be interesting to see whether the upcoming sequel manages to maintain this high level of quality.

As we all anxiously wait for Lies of P developer Round8 Studio to finish working on the upcoming sequel to its stellar 2023 action game now that the game's major DLC expansion is out, a job listing for Round8 has been spotted online that has fans concerned for the sequel. Lies of P has officially sold over 4 million copies

20 March 2026 at 11:00

Lies of P represents one of the best non-FromSoftware games to tackle the Souls-like genre. Released back in late 2023, the game has continued to see success, garnering millions of copies sold. In the wake of the game’s ‘Overture Expansion’ released last year, the team at Neowiz have confirmed that Lies of P has officially sold over 4 million copies.

Taking to Twitter to make the announcement, the team at Neowiz officially confirmed that “4 million have walked the streets of Krat and chosen to defy fate. To every Citizen of Krat, we owe you everything. Thank you.”

While perhaps not the fastest selling title in the world, Lies of P has managed to reach new milestones on a consistent cadence. For context, the game managed to sell 1 million copies within its first week on the market. This was then pushed to 3 million by June of 2025 – right after the launch of the aforementioned Overture DLC.

Lies of P Million

It is worth noting that Lies of P has reached audiences beyond the aforementioned 4 million, with Neowiz confirming all the way back in March of 2024 that over 7 million people had played the game – owing in part to its day-one Game Pass launch.

Since then, Lies of P was added to PlayStation Plus, and so the total number of players is likely far higher by now.

Regardless, Lies of P is a major success for Neowiz, and with the game already set to receive a sequel it will be interesting to see how the series will continue to grow with time.
