Ninja Theory’s Next Game Is Senua, a Full Action-Adventure Built Around What Fans Actually Wanted After Hellblade II: More Gameplay

A character from Senua's Saga: Hellblade II poised for battle with a sword and axe, set against an abstract, swirling background with the word 'Senua' prominently displayed.

Perhaps the biggest surprise of the Xbox Games Showcase 2026 was the unveiling of Senua, an action/adventure game centered on the protagonist of the Hellblade series. In an Xbox Wire blog post, Ninja Theory says the game follows on fromΒ Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II, but it is intentionally a different kind of experience and should not be treated asΒ Hellblade III. Unlike the previous two Hellblade titles, this is an out-and-out action/adventure. The studio's goal is to keep the intimate storytelling, high production values, and emotional tone that defined Hellblade, while expanding the scope into a broader action-adventure framework. That means deeper […]

PRAGMATA Review – A Fun Old-School Action Romp

An astronaut and a child stand on the moon with Earth in the background, accompanied by the text 'PRAGMATA'.

On the eve of the current generation of consoles, CAPCOM announced a brand-new sci-fi intellectual property called PRAGMATA. It was the Japanese studio's first new global franchise since 2012's Dragon's Dogma, and a return to sci-fi for a studio historically more focused on other settings, such as zombie horror and fantasy. Following the initial trailer from PlayStation 5's The Future of Gaming event, though, PRAGMATA largely disappeared from radars. Its original launch window was 2022, but it wasn't until June 2023 that we got another trailer, and then there were two more years of silence. Finally, in June 2025, CAPCOM […]

PRAGMATA – Everything We Know About CAPCOM’s New Sci-Fi Action Game

An astronaut and a child stand on the moon with Earth in the background, accompanied by the text 'PRAGMATA'.

Welcome to our hub page for PRAGMATA, CAPCOM's first single player sci-fi action game since the days of Lost Planet 3 (2013). The Japanese publisher has found incredible success with the Monster Hunter and Resident Evil franchises lately, but it cannot simply be content with turning into a sequel or remake machine. The creation of new intellectual properties is vital to keep creativity going, and CAPCOM stumbled a little in this regard with 2023's multiplayer game Exoprimal and 2024's action/strategy game Kunitsu-gami: Path of the Goddess, neither of which received acclaim or decent sales. PRAGMATA, however, is structurally and thematically […]

β€œOnly Your Tools and Your Mind Will Save You” β€” Big Bad Wolf on Cthulhu: The Cosmic Abyss and Its Six Endings

A diver in a spacesuit with the number '06' on the chest struggles underwater while a giant tentacle and a monstrous face with glowing eyes loom behind, beneath the title 'CTHULHU: The Cosmic Abyss'.

French developer Big Bad Wolf (The Council, Vampire: The Masquerade - Swansong) returns to the market next month with Cthulhu: The Cosmic Abyss, a first-person narrative-driven adventure game based on H.P. Lovecraft's beloved cosmic horror mythos. Unlike most Cthulhu stories, though, this one is set in the future, rather than the past. In 2053, with Earth's surface resources almost fully depleted, corporations begin scouring the deepest oceans, utterly unaware of the ancient horror they are about to awaken. Noah, the main character, is an agent of Ancile, a secret division of Interpol that specialises in occult affairs. He is tasked […]
