Huion has introduced a new Android tablet aimed at artists, students, and anyone who wants to create on the go. The new Huion Kamvas Pad 12 combines a large 2K display, a 90Hz refresh rate, Android 16, and support for Huion’s latest battery-free EMR pen.

The new tablet arrives about a year after Huion started its Kamvas Slate range. This time, the company is taking a slightly different approach by putting more focus on pen-based creativity while still keeping the device useful for everyday tasks.

Huion Kamvas Pad 12 Features a 2K 90Hz Display

The Kamvas Pad 12 comes with a 12.2-inch display offering a 2400 x 1600 resolution. The 90Hz refresh rate should make scrolling, drawing, and general use feel smoother than a standard 60Hz screen.

Its 3:2 screen ratio is also useful beyond drawing. The taller display gives users more room for documents, notes, reference images, and other content. Huion says the tablet’s split-screen support can make it easier to keep a reference image open while working on another part of the screen.

Inside, the Kamvas Pad 12 uses an 8-core MediaTek Genio 720 processor.
