Ugreen NASync Ultra Launches With Fast Storage for Businesses

Ugreen has expanded its NAS lineup with the new Ugreen NASync Ultra series, bringing more storage, faster connections, and stronger hardware to small studios and growing businesses. The new lineup includes the six-bay DXP6800 Ultra and eight-bay DXP8800 Ultra.

The systems are being showcased at IFA 2026 and are designed to work as local data centers for teams that need to store, share, protect, and manage large amounts of data without depending completely on cloud storage.

Ugreen NASync Ultra Is Built for More Than File Storage

Ugreen is positioning its new Ultra series as more than traditional network storage.

Both systems combine large storage capacity, high-speed networking, expandable computing features, and centralized management. This makes them useful for teams handling large media projects, business files, backups, and local applications.

The idea is simple: instead of spreading important data across different computers and cloud accounts, businesses can keep their files and services in one central system that they control.

DXP6800 Ultra Comes With Six Drive Bays

The DXP6800 Ultra is the smaller model in the new range, featuring six drive bays and an Intel Core 5 120U processor.

Ugreen says the system can support up to 208 TB of storage. It also comes with two 10GbE network ports, allowing users to move large files across a fast network.

For direct connections, there are two Thunderbolt 4 ports. This can be useful for creative teams that regularly move large video, photography, design, or other project files between computers and the NAS.

The hardware is aimed at small teams that want strong performance without moving to a more complex full server setup.

DXP8800 Ultra Offers More Room to Grow

The DXP8800 Ultra takes things further with eight drive bays and an Intel Core 7 150U processor.

It supports up to 272 TB of storage, giving growing businesses more room for expanding file libraries and long-term data storage.

The system also includes dual 10GbE networking and two Thunderbolt 4 ports. Its faster processor provides additional headroom for heavier multi-user workloads, Docker services, and virtual machines.

For a business expecting its storage requirements to increase over time, the extra drive bays make the DXP8800 Ultra the more expandable option.

UGOS Pro Keeps Data Management in One Place

Both Ugreen NASync Ultra models run on UGOS Pro, Ugreen’s operating system for its NAS products.

The software provides tools for managing files, users, permissions, backups, and remote access from a central interface. Businesses can also connect supported cloud services while keeping important data on their own hardware.

Remote access allows users to reach their files when they are away from the office, while administrators can continue controlling access to company data.

Local Apps, Docker and Virtual Machines

Storage is only one part of what these NAS systems can do.

The DXP6800 Ultra and DXP8800 Ultra support Docker containers and virtual machines, allowing businesses to run additional services directly on the NAS.

Possible uses include internal knowledge bases, databases, code repositories, and other lightweight applications. This gives businesses the option to run certain tools locally instead of using separate hardware for every service.

Ugreen also offers the separately sold LinkStation eGPU Dock. Connected through Thunderbolt 4, it can provide GPU resources to Docker containers and virtual machines for supported workloads.

Optional UPS Adds Extra Protection

Ugreen also provides an optional NAS UPS for the new systems.

A UPS can keep the NAS powered during short power interruptions, helping protect active tasks and stored business data. This can be particularly useful for systems that are running backups, virtual machines, or other services continuously.

Ugreen NASync Ultra Price and Availability

The Ugreen NASync DXP6800 Ultra is priced at $1,449.99, while the DXP8800 Ultra costs $1,779.99.

Both NAS systems are available through Ugreen’s official store and Amazon.

The new Ugreen NASync Ultra range is clearly aimed at users who have outgrown basic NAS hardware. The DXP6800 Ultra offers a six-bay setup for smaller teams, while the DXP8800 Ultra adds two more drive bays and a stronger processor for businesses with larger storage and workload demands.
