The latest Adrenalin software fixes a major bug that caused crashing in Apex Legends and adds two games for full support. AMD Adrenalin Edition 26.9.1 Adds Support for Onimush: Way of the Sword and The Blood of Dawnwalker; Fixes Various Bugs Previous Version Had A week ago, we reported that AMD's latest Adrenalin Edition 26.8.1 software was causing issues with RX 9000 series in some games. As per several reports, the driver caused crashes in games like Apex Legends and Starfield, mostly on the Radeon RX 9000 systems. While AMD didn't confirm the issue, Apex Legends did, and said it [β¦]
The new RDNA 4 GPU came out slower than expected, and it's not even able to compete with the entry-level NVIDIA RTX 50 GPU. Early AMD RX 9050 Benchmarks Reveal Significantly Slower Performance Versus RTX 5050 Across Various Applications The newest AMD RDNA 4 GPU has been tested by the Japanese outlet Hermita, and the results easily favor the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050. Making the surprise announcement, EA / Respawn officially unveiled their Apex Legends x Cyberpunk Event. Going live on the 14th of July (and running until the 4th of August), this crossover features far more than just some collab skins, with the E-District being transformed into Night City. The event also adds in two new βcyberware modsβ:
Sandevistan (allowing you to dash in any direction multiple times)
Blackwater breach (giving you teleport / EMP abilities)
These all tie into the modeβs cyberware capacity mechanic, in which picking up too many upgrades can cause you to βgo full Cyberpsycho and become a high-speed melee monster.β
Of course, this event also brings with it a ton of cosmetics β some paid and others free-to-earn. Alongside various weapon skins, 8 different cosmetic packs are available for different Legends:
Axle (Lucy)
Sparrow (David)
Lifeline (V)
Crypto (V)
Rampart (Rebecca)
Loba (Panam)
Ash (Lizzy Wizzy)
Gibraltar (Royce)
Unlike the event itself, these cosmetics will be available to purchase up until the 18th of August. While some of these skins are seemingly better than others, Apex Legends tends to have its crossovers embrace more of a cosplay-style of look, as opposed to bringing in the character themselves.
Either way, this crossover looks to have quite a bit of work put into it. Hopefully the new LTM is fun to play.
KitGuru says: What do you think of this announcement? Did you expect these two franchises to crossover? Which skin looks the best in your opinion? Let us know down below.
EA and Respawn are trying to bring the hammer down hard on cheaters in Apex Legends by making some changes in how it'll respond to players caught using devices like Strikepacks, Cronus, and XIM. If you are caught using any of those devices or devices like them, you will be permanently banned from Apex Legends. Moreover, Respawn has said that it "will not entertain appeals for leniency on accounts confirmed cheating." So if Respawn confirms that you've been cheating, you will have no recourse for getting back into the game, and just creating a new account will simply just restart [β¦]
