Zowie unveils XQ2566X and XQ2766X esports monitors with DyAc 3 technology

Zowie has introduced its new XQ esports monitor series, including the XQ2566X and XQ2766X. The lineup uses newly developed QHD Fast TN panels paired with a 360Hz refresh rate and the company’s latest DyAc 3 motion‑clarity technology.

Zowie says the new displays are designed for competitive players who prioritise motion resolution and latency. The XQ series also introduces a new Color Filter option, which adjusts colour balance to improve visibility in games with heavy visual overlays.

To streamline tournament setup, the monitors support Zowie Sync software and NFC Tap‑to‑Share, allowing players to transfer display profiles instantly. The stand uses an industrial‑grade bearing mechanism with an integrated G‑sensor for precise tilt and level detection, and each model ships with a magnetic hood for quick installation.

Two sizes will be available: the 24.1-inch XQ2566X, which launches at in Europe soon, followed by the 27-inch XQ2766X in a few months' time.

Philips introduces ‘triple mode’ Evnia M4 gaming monitors

Philips Evnia has announced the M4 gaming monitor lineup, featuring the 27M4N3500PT and 27M4N5500PT. The new displays introduce a triple-mode feature that lets users toggle between three distinct resolution and refresh-rate configurations via the OSD.

The monitors are based on a Fast IPS panel and support three native configurations. In its highest resolution config, the panel operates at QHD (2560×1440) with an overclocked 275Hz refresh rate. Players seeking higher frame rates can switch to a FullHD (1920×1080) mode at 360Hz, or drop down to an HD (1280×720) mode to reach a 540Hz refresh rate. According to the company, these settings can be adjusted instantly through the on-screen menu without manual operating system changes.

Both models include eye-protection features such as Low Blue Light and Flicker-Free technology to reduce eye fatigue. They're equipped with an anti-glare coating with 25% haze and can reach 350nits of peak brightness. For connectivity, the displays include HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4 ports. Integrated AI features include Stark Shadow Boost, Smart Crosshair, Smart Sniper, and Smart MBR Sync.

Philips distinguishes the premium 27M4N5500PT model by equipping it with a SmartErgoBase stand. This stand provides height, tilt, and swivel adjustments, along with a 90º vertical pivot for multi-screen configurations. It also features a geometric cut base design paired with a new Evnia AI gaming icon light system.

Computex 2026: MSI launches world’s first 31.5-Inch triple mode QD-OLED monitor

MSI announced the MPG OLED 322URDX36. This one stands out from the pack thanks to its extra refresh rate modes. While there are many ‘dual mode' monitors on the market now, this new display from MSI offers three modes, allowing for 680Hz, 520Hz or 360Hz gameplay depending on resolution. 

The Triple Mode technology enables switching between 4K at 360Hz, QHD at 520Hz, and FHD at 680Hz operational profiles. The monitor utilises a 5th-generation QD-OLED panel built on Penta Tandem technology. Text legibility is preserved with an RGB Stripe sub-pixel layout that reduces colour fringing. Moreover, the display is layered with DarkArmor Film, which claims a 40% improvement in black levels and a 2.5x increase in scratch resistance. Uniform Luminance technology is also included, adding support for custom HDR curve adjustments.

Performance metrics for the display include a peak HDR brightness of 1500 nits, meeting the VESA DisplayHDR True Black 600 and ClearMR 18000 certifications. Panel protection is handled by an integrated AI Care Sensor, which mitigates OLED burn-in.

Input connectivity includes a DisplayPort 2.1a port supporting UHBR20 speeds, alongside a concurrent USB-C port delivering up to 98W of power. System configuration and profile management are adjustable via the Gaming Intelligence application.
